Trader Joe's Stevia Extract

I usually buy the Trader Joe's organic stevia extract in the 1 oz bottle which is without the lactose in it. Saw this on Amazon and thought WOW, a huge bottle with big savings. Well this stevia is very very different. The smaller organic 1oz. stevia has 630 servings and is much stronger then this one which has 310 servings of 1/3 tsp. The organic has a tiny scoop and I mean tiny. Usually I just sprinkle a bit on my food, oatmeal, lemon water, etc. and a little goes a long way. This one is very powdery where the organic as granular and easier to use. So I definitely prefer the Organic stevia extract that is 100% stevia without lactose. Just more information so you can make an educated purchase. Hope this helps.

Trying this product after long time KAL brand changed formula and ruined it. Have not decided if this will be replacement

This product has milk in it and I am lactose intolerant so I had to send it back. It doesn't say "contains milk" on the Amazon description and I didn't know this until the product actually arrived, so I just wanted to save others from ordering if they are also lactose intolerant. Trader Joe's does sell an organic stevia that looks just like this one which does not have milk and is much sweeter. I like that one better and don't need to use as much to sweeten things.

Looks like you're getting a huge bottle for $19.95, but it's pretty small. Taste is good. Typical of Stevia and easier to get used to than Truvia was. I'll reorder when I run out.

this is the best way to use Stevia. container of product does not last as long.

My sister in law had this on her birthday wish list, so I did what I always do when someone wants something I'm unfamiliar with - looked it up on Amazon. She was thrilled. Apparently it's hard for her to find this stuff in such large jars? Or something like that? I don't know. She loved it, so I guess that means it's good.

I've never had a stevia cut with lactose and I don't recommend it at all. I usually use the 100% extract by Now Foods, so I am biased, however I have also used other cut forms of stevia and I don't mind those cut with FOS. To get any sweetness took extravagant amounts, unlike other cut stevia's I've used. Also, the lactose seems to make it more powdery which seemed to float and cake up more when blending it into liquids. According to a friend, Trader Joe's has a 100% extract option, which she recommends. I do recommend trying the Now Foods brand, which I also get from Amazon, since I've never tried Trader Joe's 100% extract.

This is the only stevia I can tolerate. I hate the taste of most stevia. If you can't do sugar -- do THIS.
