Dr. Martens Unisex's Newton Classic Boots

I've always been a DM fan, so when I needed some new comfy boots and being disappointed with the kickers I'd tried, I found these new lightweight super soft leather DM's! Not seen a bad review so ordered some. I've always been a 7 in DM,s but some of the reviews said they were a bit big and others saying a bit small. I am a woman and find that I can be an 8 in ladies shoes but a 7 in men's.Firstly, the difference in weight compared to the old boots is massive! About 50% lighter, the leather is super soft and extremely comfortable out of the box, so no breaking in required and they also have an nice insole with memory foam in the heel and ball of foot sections.They aren't the cheapest boots, but they have the DM name of quality so hopefully they will stand the test of time, I will certainly be getting some more, maybe a different style to the 1460, but definitely the temperly leather and super lightweight soles.As with all new boots and shoes, they only last well if they are treated right! A must before you even wear them is a good nourishing polish, I am a little shoe obsessed so mine have had a good 4 coats and about an hour of polishing so far, but it will honestly make your boots last longer to keep them polished and clean!

I have been very impressed with the new age docs. Im a traditional docs wearer with many pairs of the classics including the made in England's. These are a totally different beast. The leather is very soft and feels flimsy out of the box but is holding up to daily punishment. I wear these five days a week to work and they don't show any signs of damage or loose stitching etc. The differences with old docs I would say are they are very soft, comfortable right out of the box. The sole isnt the usual air wair sole so dont expect full rigidity of protection from broken glass etc. The do squeak a little at first but that goes away. They do come up larg so order a 10 if you are an 11 for example. And in my opinion they arent as good looking but go better with skinny jeans or chinos.Overall a good shoe and very comfortable for walking and work.

Those shoes are extremely comfortable and light. The size is bigger so is best to order 1 size smaller . The PROBLEM I have found was that one shoe was MADE from the different kind of leather!!! One is much more shiny then the other which is mat !!!! I didn’t bother to return them as I wanted to have them anyway!

I was surprised at how lightweight and comfortable they were from the first time I wore them. I bought a size larger to wear with thick walking socks and there were no sore areas on my feet so no wearing in needed. Bought as a replacement for my 20 year old Dr Martens which I had to sadly throw away because the soles had worn out. These new ones may not be so hard wearing in the long term but I am extremely happy with the look, feel and comfort.

I've been wearing Doc Martens for the majority of my adult life, it's a brand I absolutely adore, but I, like most, understand the agony of breaking in a new pair. I thoroughly recommend these to any Doc Martens fan, they look pretty much identical, but feel so much lighter and of course are instantly comfortable from the first time you try them on. I wore them for two days at Alton Towers shortly after buying them and didn't regret it for the entirety of either day, something I could never have done in my other Docs.My only slight con would be that the soles don't seem to have the greatest grip and can get a little slippy walking on wet surfaces, but it's hardly worth avoiding them for. I think they're wonderful and have recommended them to other friends.

I was choosing between the Newton and the 1460.. I haven't tried the 1460 yet as this was the one I have decided to go for as I find this narrower (i dont really like bulky boots). No regrets here. superb quality! the Newton is as comfortable as a sneaker, yet as durable as a boot. it also has the gum sole which still sticks even on wet surfaces when the weather gets bad. I am size 6.5 for uk sizing and i bought 7 as 6 might be too small. Just fits perfectly.

Absolutely love these boots. I'm a dr marten fan but original boots are too clumpy looking for my "chicken legs" 😂. Soft leather, lightweight and versatile. Ordered a 6 and fit perfectly. Had them for a while now and still looking great. Will be ordering another pair for sure

These boots are just fantastic! So light and so comfortable from the first wear (so unlike all my other DM's which took a while to wear in). As another reviewer noted the leather was very creaky/noisy when I first tried them on but walking outside in them they didn't make a noise at all. I would definitely recommend them and will be buying another pair very soon.

Ottima qualità prezzo estremamente comodi, morbidi e caldi (non come il modello classico) la pelle è di qualità, li uso ogni inverno da anni e a parte qualche piccolo segno di usura sono ancora belli

Wasn't sure if I would like the Newton style boot but it's super trendy. Great boot overall, can't go wrong with Dr. Martens.

Super cómodas. La piel, la suela, cada detalle cuidado. Muy diferentes a las tradicionales pero en su propio estilo están bien . Son mis nuevas botas más favoritas. Parece que traes tenis, ligeras, suaves pero se ven muy bien. Lo único es esperar a ver cuánto duran porque la suela no se ve tan robusta como las tradicionales. Botas suavecitas para la generación milenial de gente suavecita.

Great shoe, I have it in blue as well very comfortable, fits as expected. The huge bonus for me is the tounge stays still, on other shoes it slides left or right but it’s attached so it stays in place
