My fave for travel AND at home -- and a suggestion if you need all one size rollers
Cut to the chase: **Get two sets!** The little heating thingies the curlers sit on works for BOTH sizes, so if I want all 1-1/4" or all 1 inch, I just swap out one row of curlers (and also the pins, of course).I've got fine, thin, shoulder length hair, and I really appreciate that the curler surface is soft (although it's not flocked) and it grips well to hold my slippy hair. And although I use mine primarily at home, it's the absolute perfect size to toss into a carryon spinner. I love that I can keep my hair as nice on the road as at home.

My FAVORITE Heated Rollers
I love these curlers and have been using this band and style of rollers them for about 12 years. When my older set wore out, I purchased this new set and they are still manufactured at the same quality level. These rollers are easy to use and store; and I can travel with them since they are very compact. I would not buy any other brand or style of rollers and was thrilled that I could purchase them again, all these years later.

Compact, easy and my second set
This is a great set of hot rollers. They’re easy to pack on my motorcycle or traveling on a plane. Now that my hair is a little longer which it’s past the shoulders. I did order a second set and what’s nice about the second says you have enough rollers, but you can split them up. Nothing really big and bulky to pack. I definitely recommend this set of rollers. You can handle them, but they’re still hot enough to curl your hair and their compact.

Product Great/Seller Not So Much
I had read on the reviews prior to purchasing that someone received a used product because it had hair in it. Well, I received the same one apparently because my box was not taped closed and when I opened it there were a couple of strands of hair in with the curlers. My problem was that I was leaving for a cruise and that's why I purchased them and did not have time to reorder and send them back. So reluctantly I cleaned them up and tried them out and the product itself works great. They get really hot so I did have to use a glove on one hand to put them in my hair. So if you don't get a used product you will probably like this product. They are small and compact and fit in the suitcase without taking up much room.

My mew Portable Remington curlers
I bought this set to get my straight hair to take a little bend, or curl. It a nice size for traveling , easy to pack. A little more time consuming then wearing my hair straight. I probably could use a larger set, but I like that it doesn’t take up much space on vanity.

Very small, not for thick hair.
This set is pretty small, and if you have thick hair, you'll probably need more rollers than this provides. Also, the right side of the set seems to heat up much slower than the rest of the set. Would return if the return window hadn't already closed. On the plus size, they'd be great for travel and do the job, but I have to use another set of rollers to do my whole head since my hair is thick.

I LOVE these rollers
I had a set of these several years ago. I loved them then and love them now. Makes beautiful loose curls. I love the J clips. They are much easier than old ones. It doesn’t take up much room. Easy to travel with.

Dumb design, Fire hazard, tiny rollers suitable for a toddler head
What a dumb way to make HOT rollers— put them in a thin plastic—not stiff or sturdy plastic that can withstand heat, but flimsy, collapsible cloth-like plastic material— so when you heat them up you start a fire! The only way to safely heat these rollers is to take the teeny tiny plate the rollers hook into out of the plastic carrying case and heat them up “in the open air”… which means your bathroom gets hotter than the rollers do! And while the photo looks like a regular size set of rollers with 10 roller— 5 bigger and 5 smaller— the size is a complete joke! MAYBE if your toddler needed hot rollers, these would fit her tiny head but these are not made for a grown woman’s head. My “home” set of hot rollers by Conaire have 12 rollers so I figured 10 rollers would be fine for some hot rollers to store in our second home— well this set is 3 times tinier than my “normal” hot rollers. I gave them a try and they didn’t get hot enough to curl with a hoot — they barely got warm after 20 minutes — and my naturally wavy hair didn’t even take a curl. On my other “regular” hot rollers my long hair comes out in glorious, voluptuous curls and it’s so worth the time and effort of curling your hair. This set of curlers, on my exact same head of hair came out a complete dud—PHFFFFFFFT. Don’t get tricked by the price on these— they seem so much more reasonably priced than other hot rollers sold on Amazon but that is because you’re going to get snookered spending $18.95 and getting nothing to show for it.
