Very easy to use and faster than many others
I found this printer server very easy to configure and setup. It also produces very quick results (better than others I have tried).I was using a dedicated print server (a small linux workstation) to handle all print jobs on my home LAN (4 PCs) and several other devices (friends' PCs etc...) I switched over to the D-Link to save space (and electric bills) and it works a treat.I recomend anyone to get this one but always remember to take care over configuring it.A tip!If you have forgotten the IP address of the device and have a broadband/adsl router, simply use that to find the list of attached devices and the print server should be listed there.

does exactly what it's supposed to
having read a review here warning against making a mistake in set-up - apparently you can't reset it if you accidentally make the thing inaccessible via the web setup utility - i took a fair bit of care setting up. i mean, i even read the manual first. but having done that it was pretty straightforward and i've now set up 2 macs, a vista pc and an xp pc, all printing happily through this simple and effective piece of kit. forget trying any other way to get both macs and pcs printing to the same printer - when it comes to printer sharing, they don't play nicely at all, whatever Apple and Microsoft may say. this print server is the solution. now we have to see how reliable it is over time, but so far, i'm a happy customer.

A fantastic bit of kit
This D-Link product provides print server facilities on a small budget. Installation was relatively trouble free once I had identified my inputting error. Follow the clear installation guide and you really will be up and running in no time at all. Some time was spent sorting out printing from a laptop running Windows 98, but the problems encountered were due to printer drivers rather than the print server. Currently three PCs are sharing the printer, which is tucked out of the way, and are producing hard copies without any problem. Technical support from D-Link was efficient and provided in a friendly fashion. I would recommend this product to anyone wishing to install a print server on their network.

One error and it stops working.
It looks good, small and could be handy for me.However I will not recommnded this to anyone because there are noreset button on the unit. I did some network connection to theunit and made a small error and now I can't connect to the unit.There are no reset button so DLink says I must return the unitto them and they will reset it for me. You will have the same problem if you eg. forgets the password. Another Dlink product has a reset button but not this one.

Good work, fine, Good Quality, nice contection, make easy for work in red enviromet, and make funcional to work with some other pc in the same prineter.

Installation nicht problemlos
Ware kam schnell vom Händler, obwohl als gebraucht deklariert sah der Karton und der Printserver neu aus.Die Installation lief mit dem Tool auf CD nicht problemlos, weil der Printer zunächst nicht erkannt wurde. Nach einem Firmware-Update und Installation mit Windows-Bordmitteln funktioniert nun alles tadellos.
