Great watch. Wanted something I could take on a trip through some dangerous areas without worry of losing an expensive watch. I wanted accuracy as well. Over two weeks, watch lost 45 sec to UTC. This more than meets COSC standards. Watch is easy to set in fact allows setting the seconds accurately and then adjusting the minutes without messing up the seconds. 24 hr setting easy to change. Watch does well in all swimming/water activities. Did not take diving: have a dive watch for that. Good look. Rigid and durable. Great quick night light that won’t stay on for a long time giving away your position. Would be nice if night light was red but for $12 can’t beat it. Stopwatch easy to get to and operate. Stays on stopwatch when timing. Alternate time zone is easy to get to as well. Overall great value.

It is waterproof, the display is large and readable, the dual time is easy to switch between, it lights up well, and overall functions well. The band is fixed to the watch, which makes it feel stiff.

So, i got the Armitron Sport Men's 408209BLK Digital Watch in Black. This is my second watch i bought from Armitron. I decided to buy this watch because i've had a wonderful experience with the first watch from this brand, but i just wanted a Black color. Basically, this watch is sick. After 5 months of usage, this watch still looks in excellent condition and this is the only watch i wear because it matches with anything i wear. The face of the watch is a win. I like how the time pops to tell the time easy, unlike some other digital watches. The text is very clear to read. The time also features the seconds, day, and date (number). The interface is simplistic, yet very nice to look at. You can easily activate the 24 hour clock with just one tap on the top left (reset) button. If you press and hold the top right (st/stp) button, it reads the year, month and date (numbers). You can set a second time and display it by pressing the lower left (mode) button 3 times, then it goes back to your main time in about 1 minute. The lower right (el) button activates the night screen. To change the settings to your preference is not hard. I never had any accidental button presses. The fit is really good. I have pretty small wrists for a male. I usually have the watch clipped around the third hole (having 6 holes above it). The band feels real nice, it is light and does not feel uncomfortable. As for liquid contact, I've had no damages to this watch. I don't get too much water on this watch, but when i do, i never freak out because i've gone through it many times to not worry. When it is raining, i am washing my face, washing my car, and sweating are the only times my watch had liquid contact. I am very satisfied with how water resistant this watch is. Overall, i recommend this watch to anyone who wants a watch that has everything you need for all around activities + still has that nice & simplistic look. I am looking forward to the upcoming months with this same watch!

Overall appearance and shipping package was great. It was put into an oversized Amazon box ,which was over kill given the actual size of the watch's box, but had ALOT of cushioning. (don't think it was really necessary given the type of watch it is) My mailman had to really jam it into my mailbox, and rubberbanded the door closed. Little bit if a struggle getting it out. Either way, I like the way the watch looks. Setting it up was extremely easy. Even though it was an hour off from my time zone, it took about 45 seconds of reading the instructions, and 30 seconds of pushing buttons to move it back an hour AND switch it to military time. Any of these negative reviews stating the complicated instructions (or lack of) that came with the watch are 100% false. These people, I presume to be A) children of people that can call their aunt, "mom", because daddy had issues staying off his sister B) somebody that failed 3 years of the 2nd grade and dropped out the fourth year C) they were thrown into the air as a child by their godfather at a 14 foot velocity, but the ceiling was only 7 feet high.. I'm going to attach it to the molle straps on my daypack I use for hiking, camping, or any outdoor activity. Since I like to leave my normal cell phone in my car when I go out for sometimes days at a time, its hard to keep track of time. I enjoy spending those days outdoors completely off the grid, but like to know the exact time on some occasions when I can't see the sun. SIDENOTE: I always carry an old cell phone and and crank radio/solarcharger/flashlight/USB charger in case of emergencies. It's not connected to any network, but can still call 911 if I happen to be in range of a tower, just in case**** hits the fan type thing. Tested it at work and am pretty happy with it. It was only one day, but working in a warehouse where I throw 50lb bags of flour for 8 hours, it took some abuse in that short time. Since some bags break and spill flour all over the place, my black watch turned white pretty quick. Gave it a quick rinse after I got home, and nothing seemed to be off with it. So if I dont update my 5 star rating to a lower one, then I am thoroughly satisfied with this watch and will likely buy again when/if this watch kicks the bucket.

Cheap watch that I got for swimming. Adequate but clunky.

I love this watch, I got it to replace a Casio that recently broke after 7 years of daily use. I wanted something robust, waterproof, and not hideous. My first impression is that I like the size, the strap is extremely comfortable and it looks almost like a g shock. The instructions were absolutely necessary to set the time. But it wasn't too difficult. I've been wearing this watch for almost 6 months now. I've gotten a couple compliments on it, people telling me it looks fancy. It's Heald up perfectly with the abuses of work and play. I've gone swimming in the ocean, pools, and lakes with it. It's still very comfortable to wear, easy to read and has held up very well. I haven't used any of the features yet and doubt I will.

This is a great watch. It is light and comfortable and very legible. The night light is perfect too. Looks good on wrist and for £10.50 amazing in Nov 24. No glass crystal face only plastic, but in over 1.5 years no scratches and no new battery required. Looks better than any plastic G-Shock Casio to me. Shame not available currently on Amazon UK. The cyclops bulge is under the crystal and looks and works nicer than photos suggest. The LCD display is clear in any conditions and a good large size. Alarm sound is quite loud and all functions are easy to set. I`m surprised I liked it so much since trad style automatics are usually my thing. If you get a chance, buy it-it`s well designed and very well priced.

Perfect watch for everyday, very durable and good looking

Compré el reloj un modelo táctico y resistente para uso diario y estoy muy satisfecho con la compra. Los materiales se sienten de buena calidad y el diseño es robusto, similar a modelos de alta gama como el Casio G-Shock. Me ha sorprendido lo bien que aguanta en agua salada y en la piscina; aunque no es para buceo profesional, cumple con los 100 metros de resistencia al agua que promete. La pantalla es fácil de leer desde varios ángulos gracias a los números grandes y el fondo azul con iluminación nocturna que cubre todo el display. Además, es sencillo de configurar para la hora y la alarma, y me encanta que se adapta bien a muñecas más delgadas sin resultar incómodo. Lo recomiendo especialmente a quienes busquen un reloj práctico y duradero para deporte o uso diario a buen precio.

Ein herzliches Hallo an alle Uhren und Filmfreunde : ) Die amerikanische Marke ARMITRON sieht man leider hierzulande nur selten, diese hat eine lange Firmentradition und stellt bereits sehr lange elektronische ( Quarz ) Armbanduhren her. Das hier angebotene Modell gefällt mir sehr gut ! Das Material ist Top, kein billiger Kunststoff ! Ich mag das robuste Design mit den Schrauben in der Lünette, die bei ARMITRON Uhren immer echt sind und nicht wie bei manchen anderen Marken nur angedeutet. Die Uhr liegt wie man sieht sehr gut am Arm ( Auch bei schlanken Handgelenken ) was sie zu einer perfekten Sport, Freizeit, Alltags und Arbeitsuhr macht. Das sie 100 Meter wasserdicht ist kauf ich ihr ohne weiteres ab ! Was ich auch sehr schön finde ist die blaue EL-Hintergrundbeleuchtung die noch mal ganz anders daherkommt als bei Casio und Co., das ganze Display wird sehr gut ausgeleuchtet. Die groß gehaltenen Ziffern sind leicht aus jedem Winkel ablesbar und geben einen guten Kontrast zum Display. Fun Fakt: Das gleiche Modell wurde von Nicolas Cage im Film Willy's Wonderland getragen als er geputzt, Flipper gespielt, Energy getrunken und böse Animatroniks geschrottet hat : )) Gebe Euch hiermit eine absolute Kaufempfehlung für diese Uhr, überlegt nicht lang, wie oft gibt's schon so viel Spaß für so wenig Geld ! ; )

Willy's Wonderland 登場モデルニキのレビューを参考に購入。 映画「Willy's Wonderland」劇中で「男の中の男」と評されたニコラス・ケイジに憧れました。 映画の小道具を身に着けて観る作品は格別ですね。 映画冒頭、カマロのルームミラーにドッグタグがぶら下がってるシーンが一瞬映ります。ニコラス・ケイジが元軍人だと言う暗示ですが、戦場を知ってるタフガイが信頼している腕時計が手に入る...たまりませんね。 商品はしばらく8000円台だったのですが4200円まで値段が下がった為購入しました。 まずは質感です。 映画はともかく、Amazonの商品画像、海外ニキ達のレビュー画像以上に実物はチープです。 私も動画で伝わらないのがもどかしいですが、G-SHOCK GW-5000(右側)はともかく、2000円で購入したチープカシオF-201(左側)よりも安く見えます。 とにかくベゼルや3時9時位置のダミーボタン、ベルト付け根の黒いプラスチックの光沢感。更にはレンズとインナーレンズの質感も「本当にミネラルガラスなのか？」と思うくらいの頼りなさを感じさせます。(でも画像越しには伝わらないんだよなぁ。) ちなみに回らないベゼルの四角錐形状のモールドも頭が丸く大変チープです。 腕時計のスペックだけで見るなら残念ながらこの腕時計を4200円を出して購入する理由は無いでしょうか。2000円位なら妥当な価格かと思いました。 ホムセンの回転式陳列棚に沢山吊るされて売ってる安物の腕時計だって4000円も出せば電波ソーラー搭載のデジタルスポーツウォッチが手に入ります、それもタイマーアラームやストップウオッチ、バックランプ等は標準装備です。 ではこの腕時計の良い所は何かと聞かれると、 「フォントがバカでかく視認性が良い」所ですね。 当方40代のおっさんでして、比較画像のGW-5000を例にしますと、時間を確認したい→腰の高さの腕時計を見るけどフォントが小さくて見えない→手首を顔の前に持ってくるが目のピントがなかなか合わない。 となり、最近はアナログのセイコーダイバーを多用してました。 その点この腕時計はフォントがバカでかいので、腰の位置の手首を少し角度調整するだけで時刻が視認できるのです。おじさんにはとてもありがたい機能？です。 それ以外は競合他社に比べて良い所はありません(笑)。 ちなみに劇中場面転換の合図として何度も出てきて印象的だったアラームですが、微妙に音色が違うのが少しだけ残念。 正時の時報も短く鳴るだけです。(ピッピッ！) 劇中の様に作業⇒休憩⇒作業と繰り返しアラームを鳴らす為には「1本しか設定できないアラーム」を都度設定しないといけません。(45分間作業して15分休憩の場合、正常にアラーム設定作業開始→00:45に休憩アラーム設定→01:00にアラーム設定→01:45にアラーム設定→02:00にアラーム設定...と言う様に、ニコラス・ケイジは面倒くさいアラームを設定を何度も繰り返しながら清掃作業を行っていたと考えると休憩時間にシビアにならざるを得ないでしょう(笑)。※カシオF-201はアラーム4本設定出来ます。 レビューをみる限り海外ニキに愛されている腕時計ですが、こと日本国内においては価格の割にはスペックも平凡で特にタフネスも高そうではない。 ですが映画好きな方、映画の小道具が好きな方にはおすすめです。 エンジニアブーツにシングルライダースジャケットにデニムを履いてこのアーミトロン！ この格好で夢の国に行きたいな！ 最後の最後に、 私の商品は箱がボロボロで届きましたのでご贈答用にはおすすめしません。
