This is the last mane & tail brush I will need to buy. The ergonomic handle is well balanced and makes working through matted hair easy for me and comfortable for my horse. The sturdy pin heads are well anchored and the rubber areas on the head and handle give you a sure grip. It's sturdy and well made. I have given this brush some tough jobs and all the pins are still intact and It's been through many washings. Do not hesitate to purchase this Oster Mane & Tail Brush - it's an excellent value at this price - and you most likely will never need to replace it.

I have used this ever since my neice thought i should have one about 10 years ago. It works great, easy to clean every time and fits so well in my hand! Even my horse at 28 years has never had a complaint! and he does not like those single combs so i got rid of them! I bought one for a less fortunate owner and horse she rescued so she and her horse could be as happy as me. I would recommend that you and your horse try it too!

This is honestly the BEST mane and tail brush there is! It works far better than combs, because it has more surface area. The handle is great. It's like a big round comb. It's great for shows, or just lessons when I'm in a hurry and want to untangle manes and tails quickly without pulling out a bunch of hair. I once accidently left mine out at my trainer's farm, and the next week when I came back to get it it was full of horse hair! There is no doubt that horses and people will think this is the greatest mane and tale brush there is.Buy this product, your horse will thank you! =)

OMG! I love this brush. Have miniature horses and it works great when they shed. The manes get really knotted as it winds on the prairie, and it detangles with ease. It helps if you suffer with arthritis asthe handle is a little bit big and it has a rope hole at the end that makes it easy to hang up for storage. Construction is sturdy and So worth it! Would buy it again if I needed to.

I bought this for my Havanese. I keep her in a full coat and needed a new brush for her. This glides thru her hair and doesnt make that sound most brushes do. She loves the massaging effect and sat for a long time. Mats come out easily and extra hair is not pulled out. This is a great brush!

I have two of these brushes, one for my horse and one for my cats. It works well on both. Mainly, though, I purchased it because of its ergonomic design because I have trouble with my grip. The handle is a nice shape and thick enough to make it easy to hold onto. The horse hair comes out of the brush easily as I just knock the brush on the side of the stable or on a post and the hair comes out. The cat hair has to be pulled out of it and I am not sure it actually gets as much cat hair off of the cats as a regular cat brush would, but the upside is they love being brushed with it!

Use it to brush out the mane and tail. Easy to clean. The bristles are plastic and fairly flexible to allow for brushing and detangling without ripping out a lot of hair and doesn’t cause greats pain when you hit a snag. Bristle ends are capped with little balls to ensure comfort for the horse’s skin. Has proven to be sturdy as no bristles have come out and the ball capped ends of the bristles are still intact.
