I love these!
So I like to buy glass canning jars (the normally pricey kind with the hinged lids and rubber gaskets) at Goodwill. I bring them home, run them through the dishwasher and change out the gaskets for new ones, so they are like new. I like to have those for storing things since they are airtight, crystal clear, and look nicer than plastic. I needed a nice way to label the jars and found these. I got to work relabeling all my pantry staples. I had been cutting out the food names from the plastic bags they came in and taping those onto my jars. Not too classy. I bought these labels, along with the Chalk Ink 6 mm chalk marker, and both arrived today. It was so easy to use these! If I didn't like how my writing came out, I just erased it with a a wet napkin and wrote again. The cool thing is, after the chalk marker dried, it does not come off by rubbing it with my finger. Neat! Oops now I am reviewing the chalk marker and not the labels. Well shoot they go together, so if you're buying the labels, I recommend the marker too. This is one of those little projects that you can do that makes things a little classier, but is easy. Brown sugar in a glass jar with a black label looks so much better on the kitchen counter. I also like to put my laundry detergent pods, oxy boost, and stuff in glass canisters and label those. And these would make a neat little gift-- stocking stuffer, new home, etc.

utility and stylish
No more questions of "is this wheat germ?" With many people in the house and an amazing amount of foods that look similar when you're quickly trying to make dinner these save the hassle. They allow for quick ID of food, even if it's tucked in the back of the pantry. Just have to spot the black label and know what it is. They stick well and the chalk pens work great on them. The variety of sizes are perfect for the pantry!

Only four large stickers!
The quality of the stickers were great! I actually purchased a sharpie white paint marker to use on them and it worked really well and looked super Sharp. I messed up and used nail polish remover to take off the paint marker. It took some work but didn't damage the sticker at all. (I'm thinking that they kinda look like they may even be washable) I was actually able to rewrite on it again with no problem. My major gripe is that their are only four large stickers in the package. I was using them to label canisters in my pantry and four was not nearly enough. A majority of the pack are small spice jar size stickers that are pretty useless and I expect will be super hard to write on with piece of chalk or even my paint marker. Impossible actually! So quality great! Size options not so great. So I really just paid $10 for only Four stickers I could really use. The medium sized in the package are pretty small but usable. The small pretty useless!

These are NOT repositionable.....otherwise, good chalk labels.
The write on/wipe off of these works very well with the chalk ink pen (which was hard to find, had to order online). I give it a lower rating because when these things are stuck on they are really stuck on. Something I read when buying gave me the idea they were re-positionable. They are NOT! The label starts to chip off in pieces if you try to move/remove it. I stopped when that happened so I'm not even sure if I could completely remove the label if I wanted to.

Easy to use, look amazing!
After numerous attempts to paint boxes on my jars using every possible type of chalkboard paint, I gave in and ordered these labels. I wish I'd done it sooner! They look amazing and nobody realized they were labels! They hold up well, including through dishwashing. The variety of sizes is great, although I could have used less small labels.Important note- get a chalk pen. It saves so much time and frustration, and looks much nicer. If you are using regular chalk (even sharpened), some of these labels will be too small to clearly write on. Do yourself the favor of buying the chalk pen.Also- these are very addicting, so I recommend buying a few packs!Happy organizing!

Very nice
Adorable labels! I bought these to go with my 12 piece OXO pop container set. I haven't put them through the dishwasher and probably never will but they have held up great and stayed stuck with hand washing. I use with Marvy Uchida Bistro Chalk Marker on them and it works perfectly. The variety of sizes is great but I could have used more of the bigger labels. I'm not complaining, it was certainly a good starting point to know which sizes to buy more of later. Everyone who has seen my re-organized pantry with these labels think they're cute and want to know where I got them.

Terrible
Was impossible to write on these. The liquid chalk marker did ok but words were wobbly and smooshed. Regular chalk didn't work at all. The surface was very textured and didn't feel like a chalkboard at all. I would suggest making your own labels with chalkboard paint if you need small version of this shape. If you just want the large ones, Martha Stewart sells a great version at half the cost! I would have returned these, but I had already put half of them on containers before I started writing on them to find out how unhappy I was with them!

quantity vs quality
i bought this set because it included 22 stickers of different sizes as opposed to the pack of 12 i previously bought from another vendor. these came in different sizes so I thought they would be more versatile. I did read the reviews about the texture being rough, but it had so many positive reviews that I decided to take a chance anyway. Now, having received them and, naturally, comparing them to the ones I had previously purchased, I do not like these stickers at all. The textured surface means that the writing on the small labels is hard to read and takes the cool-factor down several notches because it just plain looks bad. I will go back to buying from the other vendor. Fewer labels, but better quality, IMO.
