Great Instrument
I am a guitarist who wanted to learn to play the bass. This fit into my budget well. The build quality is what you would expect from Yamaha - excellent. The neck is very comfortable and has a satin finish which I am a huge fan of. The pickups have a decent range of tone and all around it sounds good and is easy to play.

Instrumento precioso

Perfect affordable bass
5 out of 5.This is a great bass for a beginner like my self. Perfect finish, needs a little bit adjustment on the bridge to get rid of buzz, packed almost perfect no scratches when I opened the product.Good customer service the seller called me for my inquiries/deliveries.Highly recommended.1 day delay from expected delivery but its OK.

great student model bass
Like everything from Yamaha, this is a very nicely made instrument that looks and feels good. It's fairly light so should be fine for all but the very smallest of players. The sound is solid for the price point although the sustain is a bit lacking. I would guess this will take most players through their first 3-4 years of learning without any problem.
