I bought this rod just for spodding,being just 6ft makes spodding so much easier at about 50 feet,i dont need to go further where i fish so this rod is perfect for my use,it looks and feels good quality even though its cheap at £15.99

Nice little rod see how it hold up with a carp on it

I used it today for the first time. Dropped a bait straight down from the rod tip into the margins. Had a nice common about 30 minutes later. Was okay to play the fish with on the relatively snag free lake. I found it helps with such a short rod to hold it up at arms length. It gives you another couple of feet of leverage. Build quality is excellent for the price. Edit: Having caught 20+ Carp with it now it's performed well with no problems and no sign of wear or damage.

As stated before absolute crap tip broken first cost

Used it a number of times fishing in the margins. Well balanced especially with an Oakwood reel....I guess the rod is made from carbon fibre and has a good solid foam grips on it. Excellent value for money.
