NEMA17 Stepper Motor for 3D Printer KL17H248-20-4A, 65 oz-in (0.9)

Great little stepper motors. Bought enough to make several delta style 3D printers and a handful of extras in case one failed for some reason or other people I knew wanted them. They seem to exceed the other 'name brand' NEMA 17 stepper motors commonly used in this application and run much quieter as well.I am using a ramps 1.4 with an Arduino mega R3 2560 clone board and 1/16 stepper drivers. My build radius is aprox. 12" diameter and 20" high with a GT2 drive belt system. These stepper motors easily move my magnetic end effector around and have happily done everything that the microcontroller has told them to do. So far I've had print speed up to 120mm/sec but have not tried to push the printer any faster than that because I do not have any need to print really fast and I have not missed any steps.

These are very meh. For the cost, you can get a motor that's quieter and better able to handle the power. I had these hot to the touch on my gt2-driven rostock mini running at only 40mm/s at around 1.1-1.2 amps. One even started missing steps enough to warrant trading it out for another motor with not much actual use.

Second time I used their motors and as always good quality and competitive prices. They don't overheat and deliver a good torque. I will strongly recommend them, as other have done.

Poor quality of the item, very noisy and bad performance compared to other stepper I bought few month back. It is waste of money. Bad return policy from this seller, so think twice before buying.
