Great protection
The pads fit our 7 year old perfectly. He says they are comfortable to wear. He's already wiped out a few times in them, and he's still in one piece. :)

They're okay...
These are ok. They're the first pads I've purchased for my kids. I bought one set for each of my daughters, one 8 and one 10. They seem somewhat cheaply made, but I don't really have anything to compare with. The knee pads are a little wonky. My girls say they feel comfortable though. The wrist guards came in handy already, as my oldest daughter feel backwards off her hoverboard and landed with her arm straight back on her palm. She did have a bit of a sprain, but at least her hand didn't get all cut up from the road. I'd say these are ideal for beginners, but I wouldn't trust them with something like legit skateboarding or anything like that.

All knee pads
This set seems pretty good, but we received 4 knee pads (each labeled knee) and the wrist pads. There were no elbow pads even though they're supposed to be a bit smaller to fit better. This seems to be an ongoing issue for this seller.

Run kinda big
My daughter loved getting them but they are a slight bit big. She got the medium but they look like a large on her elbows and knees. The wrist fit perfect. It would be nice if there was an adjustable strap. The Velcro isn’t long enough. When she skates the straps hang off and hit eat other and get stuck together.

adequate
I'm a skateboarder and I encourage any interest my toddler has in this regard. If these we were for me, I'd be angry; but for her, they're OK. Adults have right and left pads, these have no left or right except for the wrist guards which is likely the most important piece for toddlers because they'll put their hands down to catch themselves instead of falling to the knees. They're functional but are likely not the most comfortable. If you're the parent that buys new Nikes for your kid, keep shopping, if you're a thrift store kind of parent like we are, these will work. They'll likely outgrow them quickly but I have her wear them while at the park so she gets conditioned to be comfortable with them even if she's not doing much.

Small, but good
I ordered these for a five year old who was learning to ride a two wheeler. She had always used a helmet, but when I saw these, as I was ordering skates for her, I thought how useful they could be in many situations. She stores them in her helmet so she won’t forget to put them on. They protect her small elbows and knees. It’s important to teach safety very early so it becomes “I want to take my bike out, so here’s my helmet and pads that I need when I go for a ride.” Her two year old brother grabbed them and put them on each arm and went to show his mom. It seemed amazing that he understood what they were. Their parents had a book on bike safety that I’m assuming he had heard and he put them on proudly. These children have talked about safety since they went for rides in their wagon, rode their tricycles and began using their scooter. It makes sense to them. You’re never too young to practice safety.
