Good investment! Minor issues, but overall great!
Just bought this for my birthday. Loved the scheduled delivery! They weren't joking when it's says heavy. It is! My husband weightlifts and this was even hard for him to lift the heavier end down into our basement. I suggest if your putting it in your basement, don't take the entire box down cuz that's a pain. I suggest you empty the box and take everything down in trips. Assembly was good. Very detailed instructions. An assembly hint that I learned, when you get to the page where you are adding the arms and the cross bar on top of them, but together the crossbar and arm before putting it on the posts it goes into. I found following the directions on this part difficult cuz the holes for the screws didn't line up. Total assembly time from start to finish for me was a little longer since I had two 3yo distractions running around. But if I had to count the actually time, I would say it was around 2 hours. Word to the wise, don't touch the screen cuz it's heat sensitive. It's an easy fix by gently blowing cool air on it. Other than that we love it!

The lowering of the bed is a great safety feature
After one week, it is working well. Noted during assembly that two threaded holes were not threaded completely. Very impressed with the lift assembly, but it should be done at the beginning of the assembly. The lowering of the bed is a great safety feature. Pets get out of the way before it lowers completely

Excellent buy, definitely recommend!
I spent months researching the "best" treadmill for me for sturdiness, dependability, quietness, etc. I ended up buying this ProForm ZT8 treadmill about 8 months ago and I love it. It's quite sturdy, runs great and is pretty quiet (it's a treadmill after all so you'll hear it running, but mine doesn't squeak at all). The length and width of the belt is excellent and I never feel like I'm going to fall off the back or hit the sides. The belt was a little off center but that was easy to fix with the tensioners at the back of the belt platform. It came disassembled (packaged very well) and I managed to put the entire thing together myself with the exception of the hydraulic bar that enables the belt platform to be lifted and locked into position - this part is a two-person job.The workout programs are good but I generally change it manually. The incline works well and is quiet when it's moving into position. Some reviewers said the speakers weren't loud enough, but are you really buying a treadmill for it's sound system? I think the speakers are fine - get a cord with a 3.5mm jack on both ends and plug in your cell phone to listen to music. Works well for me. My only complaint is the fan in that you seem to have to be at the front of the treadmill in order for it to really hit your face. But again, are you really buying a treadmill for it's fan capabilities? I have a standing fan that I've set up to blow on me during a workout. The heart rate monitor doesn't seem to work really well, where it will change drastically while my hands are on the bars - again, go buy a fitbit or something else to monitor your heartrate; this is a treadmill, not a medical device.Overall, I would definitely recommend this treadmill and I would buy it again.

... of exercise equipment including a Proform Treadmill that I loved. Not the case here for several reasons
I have owned and still own a few pieces of exercise equipment including a Proform Treadmill that I loved. Not the case here for several reasons:1) Delivery was a nightmare...supposedly they make an appointment and give you a delivery window...it is all nonsense. They lied to me all day and when a delivery that was scheduled for early morning finally showed up at 6:00 PM, it showed up in an old broken down truck with a dirty, unwrapped mattress laying on top of my treadmill2) The service I hired through Amazon to assemble the treadmill was also quite interesting. The gentleman showed up late, did not let me know he was running late...and showed up with his pre-teen daughter who proceeded to do most of the assembly!!3) Now for the treadmill itself. It was great for about the first 2 weeks and then started squeaking with every step. I figured that it was not a big problem and contacted Proform...since this model came with a 2 year parts and 1 year labor warranty along with a lifetime frame and motor warranty....which now brings me to number 44) When I reached Proform, they told me to get a screwdriver...that I was going to "troubleshoot" for them by opening the unit up and if I didn't do this there would be a $159 charge for the service man to troubleshoot!!!!! Outrageous!!!! I had the unit assembled professionally because I have a bad hand....and they were now telling me I had to get down on the floor with a screwdriver to do the work for them. Stay away!
