A terrific knife that once you hold it, you'll really like it. Two thumbs up !!
This knife has an awesome feel in the hand. It has a nice heft, great balance, and sleek lines; hard to put down. It's basically a survival / all-purpose camp / hunting knife, and I consider it to be the best fixed blade knife I've owned; and at age 68 I've owned a few. The quality of the materials and workmanship are excellent. It has a substantial hilt (guard) which I like for safety reasons. I am not fond of the polypropylene and cordura belt sheath that comes standard, so I ordered a black leather Buck sheath designed for the Buck 119 Special knife. This Muela fits the Buck sheath perfectly. I very highly recommend this knife to anyone considering buying a general-purpose camping, large hunting, or survival style knife.

A Great Knife Deserves A Great Sheath
Little confusing at first when ordering.I actually ordered the RUKO knife ( but the photo showed the Muela 5161 ).So I received the package and was very excited that it was in fact the Muela 5161 .Now the sheath was total crap !Kept knocking around in there and felt like it call fall out at any time .So I ordered the Brown Buck 819 sheath .I had to remove the handle strap because it was too small .I used the original black strap that came with the Muela ( look at photos of how thick the sheath is ).A great knife deserves a great sheath !!Now I am solid satisfied with entire purchase!

Best Utility Knife I Own
This is hands down the best knife I've ever owned. I bought it sometime in the 90's while in the Marine Corps. I used it for years and then somehow it got relegated to a back shelf. I just found this knife and low and behold it's STILL for sale after all these years. My son and I are avid campers, backpackers, and hikers, and when he turns 18 I'm going to have to buy him one.

Great knife that holds an edge
Have owned this knife since the 1990s. Got it in the the Persian Gulf while in the Marines. Used it my time in the Corps and camping ever since. Would highly recommend it to anyone else who might need a stout knift for general use around the camp or survival purposes. It holds an edge even after butchering a deer and has a heavy handle to break glass or defend yourself.
