Question 2

How long does it take the yardage to update? For example when i have my phone gps on sometimes it takes 15-20 seconds before it locks in.

Accepted Answer

It can take up to 2-3 minutes for GPS lock on when you first turn on the watch. While playing, yardage updates after you move in around 2-3 seconds. I have had it always ID correctly the course I am playing automaticaly when I first turn on the watch. I have had several skycaddies, two different lazers and used my phone extensively over the last 15 years. This is the best product I have ever used. I keep it in my car and charge it after I play in my car and then put it in the glove compartment. Always ready to go next time. Holds a charge well. This was one of my pet peaves with skycaddie. Always had to remember to charge it and bring it to the round.
