this is perfect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! my daughter loves this set! it was supposed to be an Easter gift but I have 0 self controle haha I was affraid it was going to be too cheap for her to use but they work great an everything will last her awhile! she is looking forward to making Easter cupcakes with this set! I also got her a kids cook book. my daughter is five so i cook with her she helped me make stuffed shells and they were amazing an made by the hands of my little chef! I would recommend this set to everyone and anyone with kids! the apron will fit for a phew more years (it can even fit me ) an has cute little pockets to put there cooking gadgets! and if I wanted to i can use the cooking stuff as well because there not tiney but perfect size for kids to grip an the mixing bowl has a flat holding handle so she can mix without the bowl flying away (thats what normally happens)

My daughter has had this for over a year now (she is 5) and absolutely loves it. She has helped me make so many recipes with it and feels confident in the kitchen when she is using her utensils. I even put them all in her own drawer so she can access them easier. She refuses to use my measuring utensils lol. The materials are very high quality and heavy duty. My whisk just broke the other day so I will be stealing hers from this set ;-) The Vanilla Cake recipe is great and we have made it a couple of times. I don't think we have tried any of the other recipes because she mainly helps me with my recipes. So buy this and let your kids make a mess. They will never forget it and you are teaching them an awesome life skill they can carry with them as grown-ups. Seeing my daughters face when she cracked her first egg into that blue bowl was priceless. I will never forget it.

This set is great. We made the start cake but since we cook when the kids are here we use the set for everything else. My daughter loves this.For us its not a play time set. she makes food . Shes 5 BTW. The only thing I could say bad would be I guess the mixing bowl could be bigger. But seriously that's not a problem at all.

This is a fantastic kids baking kit. It's all real baking wear not toys or "play" materials. My daughter is just thrilled she has her own things to help mom with that are easier for her little hands to use.

Can be played with or actually used
After trying to get ideas for weeks, our son saw this in a catalog a few days before Christmas and announced that it was what he really wanted most. It's a great set that can either be played with as toys or actually used to cook with.

My daughter loves to help in the kitchen, so when I came across the Mindware Playful Chef Deluxe Cooking Set I knew I had to get it for her. Everything is colour coded, so it is easy for children to understand the recipes. The recipes the kit comes with are absolutely delicious! We have actually incorporated many of them into our regular meal planning. I love that this kit allows my daughter to explore healthy cooking, learn to read and follow recipes, and taste new things.
