For Easiet Hopper Install
This LNBF is designed primarily for those who need to see the 118.7 WL satellite for International programming (or some limited Local into Local stations for a few cities) in addition to Dish standard definition programming, or by using the included bracket to attach a DPP Single LNBF that looks at the 129 satellite for Dish High Definition programming for up to 4 sat locations for all services. If you do not need to receive the 118.7 satellite, then there are other LNBF's for your install that may be less expensive. This LNBF assembly allows for the easiest install for Hopper systems that need to look at 3 or 4 satellites at the Western Arc (110, 118.7, 119, & 129). 3 Sat set-up would function as a DP 500+, while 4 sat set-up would function as a 1000+. There is one input port for the adjacent DPP LNBF (for 129) or from a wing location, if necessary. Because this LNBF has a micro-switch inside at the LNBF's, an external switch is no longer needed for most installs. Just run the cables from the out ports to the inputs of the Node. Done with that part fast. Now you just need to complete the remainder of the install including the standard equipment beyond the node for your Joeys. This provides for a nice, clean, easy install from the reflector to the Node. This LNBF can also support up to 3 Dual tuner boxes with no external switches. If you plan to support more than 2 Hoppers (or more than 3 dual tuner boxes) from this LNBF, you will need to use the external DPP44 switch (the only switch this LNBF recognizes) to provide more feeds, and that would be a slightly more complex install, but it can be done. Keep in mind that at this time only TWO hoppers will be seen on the same network as there is currently only a SOLO node or the DUO node. There is a complicated way to, indeed, have 3 Hoppers all see each other, but if you are interested, you can Google it. In the future, Dish may release new equipment to have more Hoppers be seen on the same network.Again, this LNBF is designed to make installs that must include the 118.7 sat for the Western Arc a quick and easy install from the reflector to the boxes or to the node supporting up to 3 dual tuner boxes (or 2 Hoppers) by eliminating the need for any external switches. This LNBF will make your life a lot easier and using only one reflector if you don't need a wing reflector or don't want a wing reflector for aesthetic reasons.
