Made out of particle board and pressed paperboard. What do you expect from China at that price. The stool has the paperboard reinforcements in the corner where the legs attach. They are delaminating and falling apart. I have to make new ones out of oak or my girlfriend will end up on her butt one of these days. Save your money and buy a quality piece of furniture.

States "Black Finish" in the description!!
Is states black finish in the description but they sent me a brown finish. When I called to ask for the correct item, they said they dont carry Black finish; that must have been a typo.I used my rewards points from a credit card I have - and now I lost them cause I had to return the product. Thanks for the inconvenience!

After seeing so many mocha vanity tables offered was a wee bit suspicious of black finish but ordered anyway. Surprise, it was brown, not black.
