The Shakespeare Kit: Magnetic Poetry

We got these to incorporate into our Ransom Notes game so we'd have some fun, fancy Shakespearean words to use, and they are great for that.

Bought these for the fridge at work. We’ve had a lot of fun with it! I took a few inappropriate words out.

My roommate loved the gift! The reason I only gave 4 stars is that some normal words are missing to form a lot of the sentences. That can probably be fixed by getting the standard magnetic sentences kit.

Magnetic Poetry kits first appeared in the 1980s, and they have not lost their charm! I favour creating 'Shakespearean Haiku' for my fridge, but the empyrean's the limit with this deft, daft kit of magnetized words. So sit back & hurl...words at any magnetized surface. 10/10

I bought eleven different sets of Magnetic Poetry, including the Shakespeare edition. I am a high school English teacher. My students love playing with these sets! Even students who hate to write ended up creating some pretty good poems with the magnets. I highly recommend this product.

This was a purchase for my son who is in college. He likes unique gifts. I should have given it to the whole family though, as every single time we walk by the fridge, someone has created a new sentence or phrase. And they can get silly! We have yet to create any "poetry" but have posted things such as "Methinks thou are a vile drunkard" and "My wanton lordship shall have peasant women" and "I yield not to foul winter".

Great fun for the fridge. Every crazy household needs a few sets of these. Personally I am collecting the combined sets for more variety & possibilities. The magnetic letters have good sticking power & are easily separated due to fine laser cut sheets. They are whiter than cheaper knock off versions side by side.

Fun! My students have enjoyed using it in class.

I bought this as a gift for someone who is interested in Shakespeare. I can't say too much about the product except the person said she is enjoying using them and that they work find on her fridge. Great gift for someone interested in Shakespeare.

Verily, tis a worthy box to purchase. Not only will thine fridge holdeth a feast for later repast, 'twill also be a feast of worthy words. Leave thyself warnings against gluttony, leave words of love for thine lover or maketh up scurrilous lines for thine hilarity. I findeth the size of the words good and easy to read. We recommendeth it to thee.
