The Eardrums E50 Earbuds Blue

Well let me start off by saying these ear buds are excellent. Build quality is very good, not bulky. They fit fantastic in my ears and are very comfortable. I can wear these for hours with no issues. With the different sizes of inserts you should have no problem getting the right fit. Now I bought these to use while I drive for Uber and Lyft. So the way I use these will be different compared to most. I use the left ear bud primarily while I’m driving. This way passengers don’t have to hear ride requests or turn by turn directions. With this said, yes you can use each ear bud independently of the other. I drive for approximately 8 to 12 hours a day and the battery is fantastic. Normally doesn’t go below 80%. You have to remember this is not streaming music or constantly on the phone. This is a combination of standby and directions with the occasional call. Now I wanted to see what the battery would do with full on use as well so I did a test. I wore both ear buds while cleaning and doing stuff around the house listening to music. I got 7 full hours of playback before having to charge them. Pretty dang good in my book. Sound quality is good. Very clear. Bass is not over powered but for some it might be lacking. Sound quality during a call is clear. No static. But volume is not what I fell it should be. Even with the volume maxed out it Still seems as if the person is far away. I’ve tried every volume adjustment and it is always the same. But volume level while listening to music is great. Now to the case. Very well made case. Compact easy to fit in your pocket. My only complaint is that the top is not hinged. It comes completely off the top of the case which can be a little hard to do as there is no lip or edge to push up on to get it to open. You have to get a fingernail in between where the top and the case meet to get it open, and because it’s not hinged you have to be careful as you may drop it and which means you could easily lose it once it’s off. Without the top the earbuds will not charge. Top has to be on for it to charge. Top is magnetic and once it’s on it seems to stay put and won’t just come off. But like I said once it’s off it can be easily misplaced or dropped so again be mindful. Now for noise canceling for me it’s pretty good. I can have both buds in and almost hear nothing going on around me. I can still hear slightly but not much. For me that’s fine. Now don’t be confused. These do not have a noise cancelling mic. Most people I have found they get that part confused. So if you’re talking on the phone the other party will hear everything going on around you. I do mean everything. Also just to clarify I’m using these with an IPhone XR. So for me based on how I use them they are fantastic for the price. I would recommend them.

So, initially, if you are going to be using these as a primary headphone/earbud device and want GOOD quality sound this device is NOT for you. The sound quality is by no means bad, but for the same price, you can get much better sounding headphones or ear buds. Now onto the meat of the reviewThe entirely wireless design is AWESOME. These earphones fit perfectly under over-the-ear style headphones or even ear protection for those who work with heavy machinery, or in loud environments. The noise cancellation is there, its not great, but its there. The battery life is ABSOLUTELY AWESOME. 5 charges on the case and a five hour charge gives you about 25 hours advertised, I'm averaging roughly 20 hours before I need to charge the case. so for me, roughly a week. Pairing is pretty smooth with a few minor drawbacks (see the end of the review). And in my 6 months of ownership, I've dropped these things a number of times, and only twice has the earbuds themselves split open, but they just snapped right back together no problem.Now, the not so good things. If your case dies, you run into a number of problems, 1: The headphones won't turn off when you put them in the case, 2: The headphones wont turn back on once removed (if they had turned off inside the case). Now onto the design of the case itself, rather strong plastic, I haven't cracked mine yet, but if you drop it, your case will open and will likely spew the headphones. The "door" or "lid" of the case is sometimes hard to get off, the plastic is very smooth and I sometimes cant get a grip on it to get it off. Now the headphones themselves, like i said before decent sound quality but little to no bass (which is to be expected from such a small device) and every now and then the right earbud will stop playing audio for 2-5 seconds and then will resume playing again (This is while connected with the L earbud, and the Left one will still play audio the whole time). The metal mesh that sits inside the rubber cushion, easily fell out of one of my earbuds, it would be nice to see a bevel that held that in. The same goes for the rubber cushions, there is no lip/ridge/bevel/divot, anything to hold the rubber on, on a number of occasions i have had the rubber stay in my ear when i took out the headphones, and had the rubber come off in my pocket (when not inside the case)

I use these everyday at work for about an hour or two for around a week before I even need to think of charging them. They have good sound quality and allow me to still hear my coworkers if they need to talk to me, but my music is not disturbed by outside noises otherwise. occasionally, the right earbud will cut out for a quick moment, but that doesn't affect my listening experience greatly, because it is for such a short period it is hardly noticeable. After a few weeks, the blue trim on the case began to get scratched off, but I suppose that is to be expected when you shove it in a pocket full of keys and spare change.It comes with a small strap that you can easily attach, and have thus made use of it by attaching it to my keychain. The magnets holding the cover on are very strong, which unfortunately makes it difficult to open them when my hands are sweaty.Overall, a great product and I recommend them to anyone who is looking for a pair of low-cost and durable ear buds.

I bought two pair of these because I wanted to be able to use all day without having to charge and be without. First pair wouldn't pair together right out the box. Second work as should and the battery life was great. Lasted all day long on a single charge. I purchased the warranty for both and tried to get a replacement pair for the ones that didn't work. Never got a response back. So purchasing the warranty was a waste of money. Now the second pair that was working no longer work together. My right ear bud just won't work at all. So I'm stuck using just one. Would have been nice to get the first replaced. I've read other reviews on other websites and they all seem to have the same problem as I'd did in the beginning of my purchase and now with the one that just went out.
