I do a lot of computer work and I need a good paper holder. This is the best one I have had. My last one would not stay in place. The slide kept falling down. That is not a problem with this one. The slide stays put but you can still slide it easily. I love that you can adjust the angle. That helps depending on where I am working. I also love the feet on it. You can fold them up to help hold the paper but I use them to stabilize the stand when it’s sitting on the couch arm when I work from home. It helps with my neck pain because I am not constantly leaning my head down. It is very sturdy. It really feels like a good quality. It is actually metal instead of plastic that will break in a month. I would definitely recommend.

My husband fills orders. This is the perfect solution to keeping orders straight and the papers organized. Even his supervisor is impressed.

I bought 3 different document holders and this is the ONLY one out of the 3 that worked, did what it said it would, is durable/solid, and is perfect for holding paper(s) especially for copy work. I love everything about it! Solid and sturdy, doesn't rock or move. The clip is completely removable so you can place it anywhere which is extremely useful. I appreciate the 7 different positions - this was a big selling point to me because I like to have my paperwork at just the right angle. The two bottom prongs hold the bottom of the paper down - YES this is an amazing feature I didn't even think about but makes this equipment even more superb! I highly recommend this product if you're looking for an excellent product at an affordable price.

This is a sturdy, well-made document holder. It is of good quality. I copy from a lot of legal pads, and my old document holder's back stand could not take the weight, and it would slide back and collapse. This document holder has a set of grooves at the back that a metal back stand fits into. This keeps the stand from sliding and also allows a total of seven different angles to tilt the document for comfortable viewing. I have not used it for books, but I am sure it is strong enough to hold them also. This stand is made for 8 1/2 x 11 inch paper, so when I copy from 14 inch paper that is not attached to a legal pad, the bottom three inches sort of lie flat on the desk instead of standing upright. But that is the size that was correctly spelled out on the site, and it is a small price to pay for the overall quality of this copy holder. I am very happy with my purchase.

I was a little worried that it would be wobbly, but it actually is really nice. And I like the dimensions (and the retaining clips). I use a couple of normal clipboards, each of which usually has several sheets on it on which I am taking ongoing notes - when I need to transcribe any of it, I have found that I don't even need to take it out of the clipboard - I can stand the whole clipboard up on this stand! Or I can clip just one or a bunch of papers to the stand directly, of course. The document place tracer goes on and off easily, the clip at the top goes on and off easily - very handy.

I bought the product based on sandstone99 review. I find just the opposite from him. It can only hold about 10 sheets of paper and normal 8.5 X 11 paper doesn’t fit on it properly. The rule/placeholder does slide down and won’t lay flat across the page if you have more than 3 or 4 pages on it. I crochet and bought this to hold patterns that I download from the internet. Some of them are multiple pages. I just doesn’t work like it is projected to. It is metal base but the clips are plastic and not very strong. They will weaken with time I’m sure. Just cheap and basic. Might work for some people.
