4 year review - great for the price, but if you're using it a lot, pay more for better features.
This setup is so good for the price. I'd say its perfect if you're planning on using the bag for transport to and from the hill and maybe, very occasionally, using it to fly with. If you do fly with it I'd highly recommend packing your softgoods around the board to protect as it offers a thin layer of canvas - but that's not what the bag is meant to do.Downsides I'd call out about the bag:- no protective lining- no full zip, aka if you are packing it with stuff, you'll need to stuff it pretty deep in the bag which can be hard to reach/maneuver. You can only really open about 18 inches of one end of the bag.- durability concerns if you have sharp edges - my board has put a couple small cuts in the side of the bag, they seem to be holding up, but worth considering as these could eventually lead to a bigger hole like another reviewer experienced and lost all his stuff.- can't fit two full boards with bindings on - again, you may not need this, and I've flown one full setup with an extra deck with no issues, but something to consider and a big reason I'm upgrading

Tough bag - perfect for air travel.
Great bag. It fit both my boards and almost all my gear/clothes for a week. It weighed in at around 45 pounds fully loaded, so no overweight bag fee while flying. The boot bag is easily large enough to fit both my bindings and boots, with plenty of room for tools, a wax iron, gloves, etc. Construction is good - the bags seem well made, with thick material and sturdy zippers. Some people have complained that the zipper on the board bag does not go down the entire length of the bag, but I actually like this design. It makes the bag far less likely to pop open when stuffed full of clothes and loaded onto an airplane. It just requires a bit more planning to pack it properly. What I did was first put a towel into the bottom of the bag. Then I slid my boards on top of that (put the bindings in the boot bag). Then I folded up individual bundles of shirts, pants, jackets and misc. soft gear, and just slid those down on top of the boards. So easy, even a snowboarder can do it!.My only complaint is that the board bag doesn't have a shoulder strap, but the hand strap is plenty wide enough to sling over your shoulder.

Light padding, but good for $25.
So that its clear how I do my reviews:3 Star= Below expectations4= Met expectations5= Exceeded expectations. So this bag is a bargain bag. I purchased for about $25. I have used it to travel on airlines with and all was well. The bag itself is just a bag. It is light on padding and really is only a board cover. Having said that, it is easily big enough to use your ski clothes as padding. I pack my jacket around one end and the pants over the other for some padding. I also lay my boots between the bindings and it all fits fine. I do not understand some of the reviews saying that the bag is not big enough to fit things in... if you have ever passed level 1 of Tetrus you should be fine.I cannot really comment on the boot bag, for I don't use it as such. It simply is being used as the carry bag for my spare parts in the bottom of my closet.

Perfect for the price. No padding, but large enough to add your own if needed
Worked great for a last minute travel bag to Colorado on the cheap. I don't travel much with my snowboard (155 length), but needed a bag for the airplane ride. This bag got the job done, however, it literally has NO padding, which is what I expected. My friend and I wrapped the ends in our snow pants and multiple jackets that we packed, and also used large bubble wrap around the board. My bubble wrap was pretty small, so my board got very slightly nicked on the end while being transported, but is not noticeable. My friend's was perfect due to his larger wrap. The wag was large enough to fit all this, and just has the one handle that can also barely fit over your shoulder for carrying. The boot bag worked perfect, and I utilized it as my personal carry-on item. I was able to pack some other clothing items in there as well.

Good
It works. I have a 163cm board and almost doesn’t zip. Not fancy, but I get my kids the good stuff, works for my needs. Recommend a 164 or smaller board, boots are size 12 and fit well with extra room for other gear.

GREAT BAGS!!
I am giving this set the full five stars because it was exactly what I expected. The bags are attractive, well made, the zippers open and close smoothly, and the cost was LOW!!!****I have had to change my review. I had originally said that these bags will not stand up to the abuse which airlines will subject them, but recently my husband took a ski trip to Colorado and checked his equipment through in these bags. They held up VERY well. His skis and boots travelled well, and the bags came through still looking new and sturdy. Who knew?

all in all the final products I got were perfect. It could probably fit a 160+ board
Had to get an exchange because my original board back ripped. The 2nd one I got actually had the inside of the board bag rubber coated vs the 1st one which was not. Might be that I originally got a 1st batch that didn't get the coating. all in all the final products I got were perfect. It could probably fit a 160+ board. I could my board, helmet, boots, jacket and pants in the board bag alone. Or I could probably squeeze a 2nd board with bindings in it. Then you get the boot bag which i could fit my boots and helmet in. Its a great buy for the price

Good product, could use a little bit of padding.
The product is what it is. An bare minimum boots and board bag, no padding what so ever. The boot bag is large enough to fit my boots size 9.5 + my helmet and gloves in the additional space unlike other tapered designs.I needed a bag for storage and moving purposes so this worked perfectly for me, this is definitely not something I feel safe transporting my board in any situation it may be tossed around. I will likely modify it by putting some light foam around the edges.I have a 165cm board and it fits snug. not much play at either end.

Get what I paid for
For the price, it is good. I only need a cover so my board does not break anything in my car. The boot bag is big enough to also put in the helmet, so it is good. It is a 4start because the zipper on the snowboard bag only opens on the top, not all the way. Zipper quality seems decent.

Excellent
Who hate walking with their board from the parking lot. This work great because of the handle. Work great with my extra long board. Great for travelling to protect board from scratch.

Decent sleeve
Get what you pay for. The bags have no protective padding or anything but are good sleeves and handy for staying organized. I was able to fit my boots, helmet, and gloves in the boot bag, and was able to fit both a snowboard & a pair of skis + poles in the board bag.
