Expensive but useful
Stand is very expensive what what you get but since I could not find an alternative I was willing to spend the money. I use it with my tablet as an alarm clock and its a little tricky to get the tablet seated if its dark. If you have any interest in using it for a similar purpose, get some black electrical tape to cover the bright white LED. The LED flashes when its charging and is very distracting, even in a bright room. A little extra tape covers the logo on the front too.It also comes with a 2.1A charger and cable.[Update]I have found that after the tablet has been on the dock for a couple of days that its stops charging and the led starts flashing rapidly. If I tilt the tablet forward to stop the charging and then tip it back, the LED starts flashing slowly again and it starts to charge again. If I don't notice it runs the battery down and I need to restart the tablet. It helps to have the battery status selected on the screen to monitor this. Anyone else seen this?

" I do wish the charging indicator was more dim but it's not too bad. Also note that this wireless charger does not ...
This is my first wireless charger and so, I can't really compare it to anything. I have a Cruzerlite case and this charger accommodates the device with it. It doesn't sit completely flush when charging but it stays in there. If you sit it flush, the back does not make contact with the charger. I leverage this to let the device discharge some as we use the device as our clock while it is "docked." I do wish the charging indicator was more dim but it's not too bad. Also note that this wireless charger does not put your device in "docking mode." I did some additional research and figured it all out but I bought it with that in mind for an automation app. I "programmed" my way around the limitation and it's not really the product's fault. So, I'm still giving it 5 stars.

Easy to use charger/stand
I bought this charging stand to hold and charge my tablet at night. I needed something that I could easily dock the tablet into, as I would need to do it in the dark since my wife goes to bed before me. This one fit the bill perfectly, pretty much foolproof. Easy docking yet holds the tablet solidly. Luckily the loud beep that some older reviews mentioned has been eliminated. There is a small light on the front of the charger that flashes while the tablet charges, which i figured could be annoying at night; a small piece of electrical tape over the light quickly solved that problem. The stand also works well for reading/viewing media (in portrait or landscape mode), though the angle is slightly too vertical for me (but I guess that depends on your height and the height of your table!). The feet don't slip and it doesn't feel tippy. Overall a very good stand but, as with most wireless chargers, overpriced in my opinion, hence only 4 stars. Still, it fit my needs perfectly.

Best one I've found
I have chargers everywhere - by the sofa, by the bed, on the kitchen table, in the cars, in the boat, in the rv, blah blah blah. This one sits by the bed. Being wireless and sized exactly for my Nexus 7 2013 edition, when I get sleepy I drop it into the cradle and it charges. No fumbling, no need to turn on the light to find the hole to plug it in. Just delightful. I would have liked to be able to still charge with the device in portrait mode, but that turned out to be pretty inconsequential. The wireless charger that came with the device has a non-standard power source, but this one uses a standard micro USB so you can plug the wire directly into the device if need be. Wireless charging seems slower than wired, so this is most suitable by the bed where it can charge all night. If you're in a hurry you'll probably want to plug into the wire.

just wanted a charger that works!
I am not tech savvy. I am your basic ordinary person who wants her Nexus 7 to work drama free so she can get on with whatever it is I am doing at the time. My charger would not stay plugged into my tablet and the battery would drain so fast! It was annoying to have to stop what I was doing at the time just to make sure that my charger hadn't fallen out or that my battery was near dead. After buying and returning more chargers than I care to admit I ran across this one. It works like a dream for me. I just set it in there and its charging! No drama no hassle! and no cords falling out either! The charge time for me is pretty reasonable and the Nexus 7 works great with this wireless charger! A true sanity saver for me!

Great functions, but doesn't always charge for me.
I've been using this for a while with my N7. I really like that this is wireless and the function is perfect in the stand. It seems a bit finicky, however. Sometimes, it will keep it charged and, at other times, I will come back to a dead tablet, even though it is in there. With the groove in the bottom, I don't think there is much chance it is not lined up the same. I have't figured out why this could be happening.

I was so disappointed when my Nexus 7 stopped charging
I was so disappointed when my Nexus 7 stopped charging. It needed parts not available here where I'm retired in South America. I happened upon this docking station and had a friend visiting in the states bring it back. I love it!!! If you want to use it while it's charging, the angle of the docking station is perfect. I read complaints about the charging light. Are you kidding?? It's barely noticeable. Finding the "sweet spot" on the cradle? Are you kidding?? It only goes in one way. I'm simply delighted!

would have loved to have kept this product
All in all this is a great product for the nexus 7 2013 2nd generation. Unfortunately, I had to return the product because it would not work for my nexus. Through no fault of the Century, It found out the hard way that my nexus 7 is a 2012. I had assumed that it was 2013 because, i purchased it in 2013, the manufacture date on the box said 2/2013. so of course i assumed it was the new 2013 2nd generation. That what i get for not researching further!!!. However the customer service with Century was so great, I felt bad having to send the product back for a refund. They have the charger for the 2012, but it is out of stock. So, I had to ship the product back for a refund. But, I did find me a wireless keyboard and mouse I will purchase from them at a later date. So, If you have a nexus 7 2ne gen 2013, I recommend this product.
