Cute and comfortable, but not entirely waterproof.
These Blueberry Training Pants are very well-made and comfortable. My 2 year-old daughter likes wearing them, the plush cotton velour lining feels good against her skin, and the leg openings fit snugly against her thighs without being too tight. (The material of the piping is soft so it doesn't dig into my little-ones thighs or waist). In all, these underpants can be a decent potty training aid, if you're aware of their limitations. Most importantly, these Blueberry Training Pants are NOT TOTALLY WATERPROOF! (The product description from the manufacturer is very clear about this). They contain a hidden polyester panel, which is water-resistant, but not waterproof. So they will temporarily contain a small accident, and prevent a cascade of urine from running down your child's legs if they're standing up. However, after a couple of minutes, the fluid will leak through the underpants and onto your child's clothing or whatever they happen to be sitting on.Therefore, Blueberry Training Pants are best suited to a child who is almost fully potty trained, and who only has occasional, small accidents. However Blueberry Training Pants would probably not be a good fit for your child: (1) if your little-one has just started potty training (and still has frequent accidents or is a heavy wetter); (2) you're taking a long trip or are someplace where frequent bathroom access isn't possible; (3) if you're looking for leak-proof underwear for daytime naps or nighttime sleep. If you need to prevent moisture from seeping through these training pants, I've found that a good work-around is to pair them with a waterproof diaper cover or shell. We like the Waterproof Pull On Pants Potty Scotty/PottyPatty, Large . They're made of waterproof nylon (rather than toxic PVC/vinyl), and they're very thin, so they add waterproofing to any training pants without adding bulk. If you're looking for a one-stop potty training solution that's completely waterproof (without having to buy 2 separate products), then I would recommend Super Undies Pull-On Potty Training Pant (Medium, The Cupcake Queen) , Best Bottom Potty Training Kit (XL/5T, Coconut) , or Mumtaz Soakers Nighttime Fully Waterproof Training Pants (available on E T S Y).The main reason I deducted one star from my rating was not because Blueberry training pants aren't completely waterproof, but because they're expensive for non-leak-proof underpants. They're only a couple of dollars cheaper than Super Undies and Best Bottom training undies, without the benefits of being fully waterproof. Other than the fact that they're somewhat pricey, I would definitely recommend Blueberry Training Pants for parents who need only partially waterproof underwear for the occasional, small leak.Grade: B+

Very absorbant
We needed something for a potty-trained little girl who would wet the bed on rare ocassion, and totally freak out. She has very sensitive skin and disposable training pants made her break out in a rash. She is 29 lbs and tall (wears a 4T) for sizing reference.I tried just about one of everything, so my reviews of all are below:Blueberry Diapers Daytime Potty Training Pants: I know they say "Daytime Potty Training Pants" but they worked really great for night too. Super absorbant and comfortable according to my daughter. The material inside isn't as breathable as I'd like, but it definitely is absorbant and doesn't seem to bother her skin. These seem to be the best made out of all that we tried and look like they are going to stand up to wash after wash. Elastic around the legs is cloth-covered and fits perfectly. They are a little bit bulkier than some, but not so much that it would deter me from buying again. My only super small suggestion is that they could make a couple more "girly" prints, but my little tomboy prefers blue, monsters and dinosaurs, so for us, it worked out great anyway! I saw some reviews said these ran big, so I ordered a medium and they fit perfectly but with very little grow room. I would say to order based on manufacturer sizing suggestions.Imse Vimse Organic Cotton Training Pants (SL 28-37 lbs) in Zoo: These are my favorite! The inner lining is breatheable and these are very abosorbant without being bulky. Fantastic product! Sizing was a bit confusing; there seem to be a ton of different sizes. Look at the the manufacturer's web site for pound ranges and then search for the size you need on Amazon! Elastic fits great around the legs.Charlie Banana Training/Swim Diaper Large: I found these to run a bit small. The inside is a nice cotton which feels just like underwear. By far the least bulky one I tried. We only had one small accident in these, so I can't tell you how good they would be keeping everything in. The elastic around the legs didn't fit as well as some of the others, just not as snug to keep things from leaking. Cute prints! It's too bad they don't make these in bigger sizes!Ecaware Velcro Waterproof Potty Training Pants (Yellow, Large): This was just a horrible, clumsy, poorly made product. I could list all the bad things, but just buy something else. There are so many better ones out there!

Too bulky for mostly potty trained child
These training pants are a little more bulky than I would have liked, although they may contain accidents better. I was looking for a transition pant for my daughter who rarely had accidents. A 'just in case' pant for at night or long trips in the car or on a plane. I tried a few different brands. My daughter did not like the Blueberry brand, I'm assuming because of the bulk, as she stated it felt like a diaper and not underwear. She really loved the Under the Nile cotton pant, which is more like very thick cotton underwear.

great quality- get these- dont leak.. but also dont leave them on your daughter for an extended period of time
use them for travel or whatever when you absolutely do not want your kid to leak, but do not leave them on your daughter for too long a period of time, as they are absolutely not breathable and she could be prone to thrush wearing these without a break..but as far as being the most leak proof training pants I have experienced, these win!!

It's ok
I guess I bought this with the expectation that it would be more leak proof. I bought them as night underwear for my 2yr old who was daytime potty trained but having a harder time at night. It's not leakproof at all. It's basically just a thick underpant that my son found too tight to get on and off himself and too thick to wear under clothes or PJs comfortably. They may be ok to catch the odd dribble during the day if your child was having small accidents in the day - but I think it would just slow the potty training process down while not actually minimizing your laundry load. They are soft and cute colors but order a size larger than you think so they can slip on and off easier!
