Moen Align Brushed Nickel Moentrol 3-Function Diverter Transfer Valve Trim Kit, Valve Required, T3290BN

Let me say first that I've taken a lot of showers in my time...Like every day since I was 8 practically...So I know what I'm talking about :PThis shower technology is really the best thing I could have ever chosen to use on our new shower remodel, and I'm so glad I found this solution for a diverter. We wanted to do a rain shower head in addition to our wall one, but I couldn't see how i was going to make it work...Two separate valves? One valve and one separate diverter? NO!!! This thing takes care of it all in one fell swoop. I really like the look of this trim kit, as it is just different enough from what you see all the time but familiar enough to fit in with other trim kits in the bathroom without having to be an exact match. Very high quality parts too. It doesn't feel like its going to break in my hand like some of the crap you see at big box stores. Wish i could buy one for everybody!

Overall, this product was a good purchase. It was easy to install replacing an older Moen unit that had a gold finish. I wish the bottom valve was a little more recessed but it works fine.

The thing is awesome for a 2 way shower head. But when you twist it to the cold, it becomes hot. So the symbols are opposite.

Love it he piece but the faceplate came with the hot and cold indicators on the opposite sides.

Makes switching from shower head to wand a snap, without having more and more controls. Efficient and clean design

Love it and works great but NEEDS LABELING printed on front..... hot/cold/up/down anything to help determine what goes w/what.... would be perfect 👌 w/that added!!

I only give it 3 stars because the symbols are reversed. We did a custom shower and this shouldn‘t be. I would give it 5 stars if water actually turns hot on the left where the sun symbol is. Disappointed.

Unit is pretty solid, just a little awkward to pull and push for opening/closing. Please disregard all the reviews saying hot and cold are reversed, this just means the cartridge is flipped. A pair of long noses, pull and twist 180, youtube will show you how; “moen hot and cold inversed”.

Really wanted to like this... the price and look was perfect. But make sure you find the matching valve. I fixed this up with MCore... this Moentrol is a line that Moen no longer produces. So the matching valve is very hard to find anew. Can be great as a replacement to an existing embedded valve....its too bad.

I replaced my chrome Moen trim kit with this one. Looks great!
