Xyla Brand Xylitol Mints 3 Flavor Variety Pack, 6 Tins

I say 4.5 stars but I rounded up instead of down. So the only con was the Peppermint coating was already turning to powder. The reason for this is Xyla doesn't use titanium dioxide which would make it hold together better but is dang poisonous. So kudos for xyla not using toxic chems!The Peppermint is perfect flavor and about the same size as Altoids, a little smaller. The difference is of course this mint has huge health benefits and Altoids do not. The mint just melted in the mouth i a couple seconds because there is no coating. But still my mouth is fresh as could be and I'm naturally killing the bacteria.The Spearmint is kind of smooth like Spearmint. Smells weird but taste is very good. I really like this mint.Wow, the Cocoa Mint is great. Smells weird but tastes great. Reminds me of something I had as a kid but can't quite nail it down.Honestly, I say Peppermint is the best but they all are real good and I bet on any given day I could like they other flavors just as good. And.. Made in USA.

I usually purchase the peppermint only six pack(5 stars for all those previous orders), but went with this assortment this time because it was less expensive. That was a bit of a mistake.The chocolate and wintergreen were fine, but the peppermint mints were grainy and turning to powder(as another reviewer mentioned) and the powder was stuck to the inside and outside of the can while the intact mints were grainy, not the way they usually are.So, based on my experience and the other review, I'm going back to a six pack of peppermint only unless the seller can assure me of fresh or unaffected product in this variety pack.

You found it... Lucky me.. Grandson loves them, too... I purchased these to send to him as stocking stuffer for Christmas... got such rave reviews I tried the trick again for Valentines and found out that he really likes the Peppermint flavor the best, so guess next time I'll be sending him all Peppermint until I hear again that it's time for something different... can't have too many mints, can you? They're what you call expendable. . . dependable. . . consumables, my daughter calls these food items... well, obviously I'd recommend to friends... don't know yet what the chocolate ones taste like (chocolate, I imagine...), but I can tell you the wintergreen flavor is my favorite. The mints are absolutely delicious, but the texture is not great. They are powdery and crumble in your mouth rather than sitting there being minty as they slowly dissolve. The spearmint was a little firmer and more to my liking. The peppermint was the most powdery and crumbly.

These are delicious except they disintegrated and turned powdery when I had them in my purse. I think shaking and any kind of movement cause the mints to fall apart and turn to powder, which gets really messy. They also melt as soon as you put them in your mouth. I no longer carry these with me but leave them at home on the counter, which defeats the purpose of buying mints. As long as they are not moved they're fine.

In the past I have tried a number of flavors and liked them all. peppermint is my favorite, but since ordering this variety pack, I really like the wintergreen as well. Unfortunately, I do not like the chocolate mint flavor, bitter cocoa flavor with hardly any mint.

The Cocoa mint version was excellent. The others were bad. Very powdery and broke apart easily. Felt like there was at least 10-15 mints that had broken apart and turned into powder in each of the Peppermint and Wintermint tins. Do not recommend these flavors.

I love these mints - they are not too hard, and they taste great. My boyfriend doesn't like the chocolate mint ones, but I like them. We both like all the "minty" flavors. I really like that they are not too hard, because I like to let my 2.5 year old have one every so often after a meal - hoping this will help his teeth like the research suggests...
