Well made, robust, should last for years BUT very heavy
Its very well made, robust and should last for years. I gave it 5 stars because of the quality but I was surprised at how heavy it is and that's unloaded. It says 2.6kg and in pounds that's 5.73202 according to a conversion tool online. It might be me but it feels heavier than that, heavier than a baby of that weight. To a man it probably wont be a problem but quite heavy for a woman so I just wanted people to be aware of this.I will keep it though even though its heavy as its well made and the weight was there to be seen in the details before I ordered it. I think I must have been thinking it was 2.6 pounds rather than kg when I looked at the weight.

Good, strong but heavy
You could dig to Australia with this tapered, steel shovel!! Excellent bit of kit; but beware, it's pretty heavy.

Great.
Great shovel, I wanted one that was all steel with no risk of snapping at the neck, and this does the job.

These donβt snap.
After using metal shovels, I canβt go back.

Solid as a Rock
Brought this in anticipation of snow, as I want to be prepared. Not used yet but just by looks and feel, I know I will be getting a virtual lifetimes use from it. It is solid, the weight is slightly on the heavy side but this is not a negative. Its a shovel built to last that I feel is value for money. I don't think you will be disappointed.

Great Snow Remover!!
This shovel is great. I got caught out a couple of weeks ago in the bad weather, so I ordered this for the next bout. All steel construction, it's pretty heavy, but it gets the job done and is extremely durable. At Β£17.26 (inclusive of p&p)this is only a couple of quid more expensive than the awful plastic 'snow shovels' available from garden centres and is much much better value - it'll last for years and you can shovel what you like with it snow, coal, earth hardcore etc.
