Hydrating Shampoo, 13.5-Ounce Bottle

I have hair that has been colored and that is thick and long. I bought this product with the hope that it would 1) hydrate my hair and 2) help my hair be more healthy. It did neither. After the first wash, I really couldn't tell a difference at all - but it seemed like it was making my hair a bit more lively (shiny, strong). After using the product to its finish, I was very disappointed, it left my hair dry and coarse-feeling. I also had dandruff built up in the last two weeks of using the product.

I wanted so much to love this product. I bought the hydrating conditioner, too. They both work and smell like pina coladas, but the shampoo gave my husband and me itchy scalp and the conditioner broke my shoulders and back out. We tried little tests to be sure it was the shampoo or the conditioner causing the problems and unfortunately it was confirmed. I have a friend that swears by both of these items, though.

This shampoo is by far the greatest shampoo/conditioner combo or solo I have ever used. An it makes you feel like youre working for a good cause when 10% goes to WildAid an organization that helps stop and protect the endangered wildlife like elephants and tigers, etc. I felt great when I ordered it and my hair still feels great! Both the shampoo and accompanying conditioner get returned tomorrow. I even left the conditioner on my hair for a few minutes, but my hair feels icky. Right now, my head is starting to itch and my hair feels extremely uncomfortable especially against my forehead and face -- my hair is so fizzy, light, flyaway and staticky. I wish I never used this product! Hate isn't a strong enough word.

I just ordered this shampoo because my daughter wanted the beach spray and I happened to need shampoo at that time. I tend to have problems with some shampoos irritating my scalp and making it flakey. This shampoo not only makes my hair smell good and gives it good body, it soothes my scalp.

I typically use use salon products but it is hard to find sulfate free shampoos since many salons do not have a large selection or carry them.
