Lenovo 0B47072 External Video Adapter

I got my video adapter in on Saturday afternoon, (on time), and waited until Monday morning to make the installation. I went into the upstairs office room with cup of coffee in hand because I just knew it may take a little configuration to get it to work with my 3-year old Lenovo laptop. I plugged everything up, and then I heard two familiar device connected “boodle-eep”s. I looked and saw the second monitor had fired up, so I checked everything; and behold, it configured itself with no drivers, no further adjustments, no alignments, no assignments, nothing. I was very surprised and pleased. Right out of the box, it worked and set itself under Windows 10 to my liking. I recommend this adapter. Money well spent.

This is very easy to install and is very seamless when going between displays. A nice feature is that there is an icon in each window that is opened that has a grid system that you can drop the current window into so, with 2 monitors, you have the ability to drop your window into one of 8 quadrants. Note: you're not obligated to using that feature either.

I wanted to set up my Lenovo laptop/docking station to have multiple monitors for grading papers and I needed this item to have 3-4 monitors. I purchased 2 of them and they work great! I now have 3 external monitors and the laptop monitor so that it speeds up grading. :) They work great, no problems and I am happy with the resolution.

Did exactly what I needed it to do - needed to hook up a Dell Latitude to two external monitors. and it looks like this was the only way! Great adapter!

One thing, this device isn't compatible with Windows 10. I tried to use it on a Windows 7 pro machine to use 3 monitors plus the laptop screen. The device did detect the 4th monitor, but would never throw a picture or even get a signal. Lenovo support said the device was supported by the Lenovo Ultra Dock 3, but I never could get a video signal from the device. I am sending it back. Thanks

This device saved me the cost of purchasing a dock so that I can work with dual monitors. Works very well with no issues.

I had 2 monitors and needed a 3rd one and this was the only adapter that work to get the 3rd monitor to work. Very pleased with the results.

Works like a charm! Now I can carry my smaller computer with this adapter when I travel to do presentations. It's perfect!

Dieser kleine Problemlöser sorgt schnell für einen zusätzlichen DVI-D Anschluß in Full HD bzw. bis zu 2048 x 1152 Bildpunkten.Dabei werden unter Windows 7 und höher keine zusätzlichen Treiber benötigt, da Windows diese automatisch über das Internet beziehen kann.Die Treiberversion auf der Lenovo-Webseite (wenn man sie überhaupt findet) unterscheidet sich irgendwo ab der dritten Nachkommastelle von dem, was Windows update automatisch installiert- vernachlässigbar.Der zusätzliche Bildschirm integriert sich nahtlos mit den restlichen Desktops. Stretch- oder Clone-Modus sind problemlos konfigurierbar. Die in Windows eingebaute Farb- und Kontrastkalibrierung funktioniert hingegen nicht.Ein kurzes USB 3.0 Kabel sowie ein Adapter für analoges VGA (manchmal noch benötigt für ältere Projektoren) liegen bei. Ein Ärgernis ist hingegen der verwendete USB 3.0 micro-B Anschluß an der Box, der aufgrund der Steifigkeit des USB-Kabels regelmäßig herausrutscht. Hier hilft nur etwas Klebe- oder Isolierband zum Fixieren.Fazit: daß diese Lösung keine Gaming-Grafikkarte ersetzt, dürfte klar sein. Für einfache Desktopaufgaben wie Mail und Text ist das Ding aber allemal ausreichend, die automatische Installation sorgt für echtes Plug and Play.Bevor man solch ein Teil kauft, sollte man natürlich zuerst die Möglichkeiten der bereits vorhandenen Grafikeinheit ausloten: für viele Anwendungen reichen zwei bis drei Bildschirme, und das bieten die in aktuellen CPUs integrierten Grafikeinheiten bereits frei Haus.

Ich hab den Adapter gekauft da ich vor Jahren gute Bewertungen für eine Vorgängerversion von diesem Adapter gelesen habe.Ich verwende den Adapter an einem Lenovo Mini ThinkCenter und der Adapter funktioniert problemlos. Interessanterweise laufen sogar 3D Spielchen mit dem Adapter - aber vielleicht werden sie von meine Nvidia Quadro Karte gerendert und dann dargestellt.

Ideal para conectar segundo monitor a PCs que no tienen salifda de vídeo (como los "todo en uno"). Las conexiones quedan bien fijas. Funciona perfectamente, por el momento.
