I also have big corns; can you use this product on corns?

Not sure if this was a corn but I had a painful corn or a callus on the side of my small toe. . I had it shaved down with a blade type shaver in a doctor's office but it came back. I used a blade type shaver a couple of time myself and it came back. I then bought this rasp and again used a blade type shaver and gently finished with this rasp. Hasn't come back for 2 years.

Is this better than the "Ped Egg"?

In my opinion, it is so much better (in every way) than Pedegg. Cuts down the time and effort by minimum of 50%. You don't even have to prep the skin like soaking and softening. Just go at it whenever the mood strikes and be done with it in about 5 ~ 10 min.

does this work on wet feet

This is the kind of foot plane they use in the shops for professional pedicures... on WET feet or least feet that have soaked in warm water. I prefer using it on wet feet because the skin being scrubbed off doesn't fly all over the place like it does with dry feet. You just have to use common sense & not over do it... a nice smooth movement as opposed to a put all the elbow grease you can into it kind of movement. You will be stunned at how much dead skin comes off. I mean STUNNED.

Why should I buy this over regular pumic stones?

I have both, and the pumice stones help some, but the foot file was so much more effective in removing old skin and softening my feet.

Excellent tool

Fantastic tool for removing dead & hard skin on feet. I always use on dry feet. Obviously sharp. Be careful- use of dry hard skin only. Personally, I have never cut myself using this. You do need to file afterwards with nail file for feet as it can leave the skin a little rough after. Lasts for years.
