not a big fan at $16+. sound clashing for the first few days, not bad after that. lasted 3 weeks playing daily. may try again when price stabilizes.

I have been a professional working guitarist for more than 40 years and have tried pretty much everything that has been offered in strings over the years. Acoustic Science strings are far and away the best strings ever made. New technologies are involved in the treatment of these strings that have never been done before. They are not like Elixer strings covered in a "plastic" coating that deadens quickly and frays. Every day they continue to feel like a new set, smooth with excellent intonation beyond 20 full-on gigs. I would need 5 sets of Ernie Ball Slinky strings to last as long as these. Do the math folks, save the hassle. Acoustic Science Strings are the best available today and the way of the future. I cannot do without them.
