They are great for a couple hours
I game, and I just shifted to blue tooth so I can clean up my living room. I sit 25 feet from the computer and the sound is solid. I have never used them more than 2 hours in one sitting (so I don't actually game that much).I have seen some crazy comphy ones and these aren't those. They are great for a couple hours, work well.

Unfomfortable, but high quality
I definitely liked it in concept, but it had a few issues. One, the hotkey that it uses for answering calls is ctrl + c, which is a bitch with your clipboard...Skype support is a no if you actually use hotkeys at all. It works great, great linux support... In windows, sometimes it would cut out, and then you have to turn it all off and back on to get it to work again...It would reconnect, but not work. No known reason why that happens. Most importantly to me, it is uncomfortable. The over-ear gets the essentials, but it's kinda cheap. I like bigger ear coverage...Plus the foam is sort of hard in my opinion. Not horribly so, but my previous one I could almost sleep in.If you have a few hundred bucks, go with the recon3D omega wireless ones by creative. If you want something cheap, wireless, with good sound quality, and you will only be using them for a few hours (four-five, maybe six) THEN consider these...especially if your ears aren't sensitive to uncomfortable things...

Excellent headset
The sound quality is superb. They are well-built & feel sturdy without being heavy or sweaty. They are not bluetooth however, they use the 2.4Ghz band more akin to cordless phones which may or may not be an advantage depending on your situation. On the plus side, this gives it better range & sound quality. On the minus side, you won't be able to use these with your smartphone or tablet. Also, the only way to charge the batteries is through the little cable on the USB transceiver. Which is fine for desktop usage. However, if you intend to use these on the go it may be a problem charging these off your laptops usb power. It would have been nice if there was a wall-wart charger included, or indeed available. The manual doesn't even give the specs so you can hunt down a power adapter on your own.Oh well, a minor inconvenience on an otherwise awesome headset.

VERY DISAPPOINTING + WEAK CUSTOMER SERVICE
We bought 3 and after the 90 day Amazon return period expired on them they stopped working. We are using them for VOIP computer phone. Customer Service has proved unsatisfactory with no way to get our headsets replaced. All phone #s we have found are bogus... non answering numbers. When the technical support chat people are on line at the site, they cannot assist with replacements. We are very disappointed with these headsets. After 90 days of use our clients could not hear us, and then we slowly began to not be able to hear them. PLEASE ADVISE IS ANYONE CAN ASSIST US WITH OUR EFFORTS TO CONTACT CREATIVE LABS DIRECTLY. ARE THEY GOING OUT OF BUSINESS???

Lousy Construction
Ok, I agree, best sound quality I've heard and used for similar product. Problem is, it fell apart within 2 months and has been held together with duct tape since and now after 5 months is an unusable $100 piece of garbage. Yes, I take care of my equipment, this product is poorly constructed where the ear pieces and headband connect.

Excellent for short durations
Bought 4 sets. One for me and one for each of my boys. I like them but they do not saying it hurts their ears. I do not use them as long as they do so for the casual gamer/listener, these would be fine. I would look elsewhere if you are buying to wear for long durations.

Also one of the ear pads fell off and there was no way to put it back on without super glue. Range is pretty good
I have a small head and I find these somewhat uncomfortable to wear. Also one of the ear pads fell off and there was no way to put it back on without super glue. Range is pretty good. mic sounds great. Not sure how they will hold up when I'm in the office up to 10 hours a day.One major downside is that they don't shut off on their own. So if you forget about them, they will be dead when you need them. Turning them on and off, you have to hold down the power button for a few seconds. I find it pretty irritating. I've been using a headset for roughly 6 years, and the technology, surprisingly, hasn't come a long way as you would expect. Disappointing, but assuming you wear these all day and the battery doesn't die, it works as expected.

Sounds good, good range, no crashes!
I use it for Skype and listening to music and it does both well. The range covers almost all of my house, which is slightly better than other brands I've tried. Battery life is good, have not yet run out with typical 5 hours of use. Unlike some competitors it is usable when plugged in to recharge and it mutes by swinging up the mike. The mike is very flexible with a wide range of adjustment so you have to reposition it each time you lower it. It is a little tighter on my head than other brands, but not painful. I have had no crashes or loss of pairing which is much more reliable than logitech. It specifies a USB 2 port and they mean it. I tried it on USB 1 and there were noises. The volume controls are easy to operate.
