Q: What are the dimensions of this product?

The Green Air Pro Air Purifier is 12.5"High, 12"Long and 9"Wide. It is small, but mighty.

Q: The ion setting is safe to be in the room right? It is the ozone/purifier setting should be used when no one is home

the ion setting can be used anytime, the ozone can be used for short periods while people are present, but for long periods, we recommend the area be unoccupied

Q: What material is the grill made of (is it metal or plastic)? From the picture it looks a little cheap...

At first I thought it was anodized or powder-coated metal. It was only after tapping several times that I determined it to be plastic. It is not cheap looking at all.

Q: Can the timer be set to run on a schedule or do I have to set it every time?

For our Green Air Pro model, the ozone timer is a one-time use timer; it will run the ozone for either 30, 60, 120 or 180 minutes, and then turn back to regular mode without the ozone running. Our Green Air Deluxe model (also sold here on Amazon) uses a timer that you program. It will turn the ozone on and off at your preselected times once during a 24 hour period. For instance, on that Green Air Deluxe model, you can program the air purifier to turn on at 9am and shut down at 9pm, with the ozone running from 2pm to 2:30pm every day. For some people, the one time use timer on the Pro model works better as they don't have the same schedule every day, and don't want or need the ozone to run every day...for others, the Deluxe works better. Both are great units, and will provide very reliable air purification.
