Advantage Gripware "Set in One" Apple Box Set, Includes Full, Half, Quarter and Eighth Apple Boxes

Many uses all you need is imagination. Apple boxes are not just for standing on, you can also sit on them, use them in displays, make steps out of them. Cover them with material and set them up for product displays. Hundreds of uses all you have to do is use your brain. I plan on ordering a second set to have around. Very well constructed heavy to lift solid wood design.

Its a good product and the nesting is great. But its only packed with 2 rows of those plastic air packets. When I opened it they were pretty much deflated. Most likely crushed by the heavy weight of the box. One corner was a little mushed and the other edges are scratched up. Not worth returning since this is more a behind the scenes product. But it still really sucks to buy something and have it come damaged. With this type of packing I cant imagine ANYONE getting one of these in the mail without having some sort of damage to the edges unless you are super lucky. Ive noticed some other people mentioned theres got damaged also. Probably worse than mine.

Decent. Mine chipped right away. Like immediately after buying it I set it down, it tipped over onto a wooden floor, probably hit a nail or something and the corner chipped. Probably a fluke. No others since. But I can't sing the highest praises now, sadly. Because I just don't know. Plus, they're apple boxes. I mean, can you really rate apple boxes anyway?

Perfect product, sturdy, strong, just what an "Apple Box" should be. The nesting feature is way cool.

"Apple Boxes" serve innumerable uses in the television, motion picture and photographic industries. If something needs to be made taller (including people!), an apple box does the job. You can rest something on an apple box, use it as a stool, a small table. Whatever you can think of. Look up "Apple Box" in Wikipedia for a more complete explanation of apple boxes and their uses. Apple boxes are usually made of plywood (for strength) and come in several standard sizes. The genius of the "Set In One" is that all the smaller sizes are packed into the largest size, making it possible to tote a complete set in the space of one large apple box. These apple boxes were shipped in a cardboard carton just big enough to hold the set. The boxes are "unfinished," in the sense that they aren't painted or varnished. So, you can paint them yourself, or just use them as is. While used widely in the visual arts, apple boxes are a "behind the scenes" item and are rarely seen "on-camera," which is why these are probably not finished.

Have used these several times already. Love how they all fit together so perfectly in one main box. Awesome set.

Well constructed, and great multi-purpose set. Nicely designed and well constructed, but is heavy and a bit of a chore to lug around.

They're convenient, if not a little heavy. Unfortunately, one of the pins on the outside cover has already broken through the edge of the box after just one use. Kind of a bummer, but still works well enough and it's very nice to always have a full set.
