Works great! I love having gps seperate from my phone.These gos units have come such a long way fromThe first ones that came out!I love my Garmin and I am very pleased with this purchase!

Nice and large screen. Works well in Canada/USA. Hadn't try it in Mexico, but had no intention of doing it either :-). The voice recognition software is mediocre, but the rest of the functionality is great.

Voice Command is amazing. Ask for a destination, service, or landmark and it knows exactly what you are looking for and takes you there. if connected to your phone, you can access your contacts and make calls without touching the unit. It also displays incoming texts as they come in. The mapping and directions are flawless.

The product itself is fine, but the vendor did not send everything that was supposed to be included. We never got the case or the cleaning cloth that were advertised to be included. We reached out to the vendor and got no response.

I haven't used it enough to really revue it, but I like what I see so far. 7 in screen looks huge next to my DS 51

We didn't try the voice recognition- But the Garmin did work really well. The detail on the screen was VERY good- made looking for the exits and turns very easy. We were very glad we had it on our recent vacation.

I am an honest Garmin user but very disappointed to this model! I thought I could get more convenience with high price but on the contrary it brought so much troubles:1) it always pops up an option for USB-connection from the beginning, if you choose "continue" by accident, it dies!2) On the driving, it also sometimes pops up the option for USB-connection, you have to reach out to the screen to cancel it; what's more, it will pop up again another two times!3) It should be "turn left/right", but the voice tells you "keep left/right" and caused me many time the wrong ways! You have to be careful for it's meaning of "keep" by observing and thinking about the actual road conditions carefully!!!4) the display turned into dark suddenly on the driving, I had to reach out to display and set brightness, and what's more I failed! I couldn't adjust brightness just on setting, it popped up "you can only connect to USB to adjust brightness"! what an annoyance! I had to shut off and restart it again.5) The calculated routs are nor perfect, sometimes it leads you into a community to go through it although I have checked off "shorted way".6) it added extra part between body and mount ball, it drops off easily. I lost it somewhere one time and couldn't put it on the front dash, it took me a long time to find it. If it is lost, the GPS will be a garbage. I don't know why they design this way!
