Great radio , with U.K. plug supplied in the box too, what’s not to like.
Great radio , easy to set up.It came with a U.K. plug for the mains so that was great news having read the reviews below, I was a bit wary.It also included a note to say if it came with the wrong plug to let them know and they would send one for free.First class radio great company to order through , I was kept uptodate for when it would arrive, it arrived on time.

WTF?
I'd been waiting for this one to come out for a while, DAB and Blu-Tooth? Boom! Imagine my utter disappointment, though like a kid on Christmas day, getting a Barbie rather than Action Man.I've wandered around the site and my house and simply cannot find a socket that the supplied AC adapter will fit in. Makita have obviously thought it would be amusing to supply a Euro adapter that only looks like it'll last about 10 minutes on site, and didn't even bother to throw in a Euro- UK adapter, come on Makita, we're leaving the EU soon!It doesn't even charge your batteries, WTF is the point of it then? The lads on site are just taking the pi55, while they listen to their radios and charging their batteries, I look like the kid on a girls bike while my mates ride round on their BMXs!I've got loads of Makita stuff as that's what batteries I've got, so to have to tie up a battery in this thing without it being charged is ridiculous! I might as well have gone for a much better radio from DeWalt or HILTI!Rubbish, for the price it should come with a decent UK adapter and charge my batteries, it also looks like a radio designed for 3-5 year olds. It's going back.

USB is only for charging devices from the unit itself
Sound quality is great and Bluetooth setup was quick pairs straight away once setup very pleased and like the fact you get DAB and Bluetooth on the same unit unlike previous models also charges devices when plugged into built in USB socket
