The book is well written and the information is very useful.
I was introduced to Peter Hollins’ through his book, The Science of Learning. I found it both interesting and useful. I wondered if the information in this book would be the same, simply “repurposed.” It isn’t. While it has some of the same principles, the book is exactly what the title says, Accelerated Learning for Expertise. And, again, the information is very useful. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to become an expert.

I really enjoyed reading this book
This book contains very valuable processes. I will be recommending it to many people. It engrossed me because I could relate to something in every chapter. In learning my profession I basically did what the chapters outlined, however, I did most of the steps by instinct. I could have used this book of instructions 40 years ago. I probably would have gotten smarter faster. Thank you for writing it.

Knowledge is the foundation for gaining expertise in a particular field.
I liked your to the point writing style with rules and principles that are relatable to my own personal/business experience. The 80/20 rule is an off-shoot of Paretto's Law. Basically, identifying the vital few versus the trivial many that I used with incredible success back in the 1970s. The technique I used was called the ABC Inventory ControlMethod. The expertise I gained applying this technique put me heads and shoulders above my peers. I also like your musician's example whereby playing music bars slower eventually leads to the mastery that practice makes perfect. Finally, your insights have given me the confidence to launch an affiliate marketing project that I look forward to monetizing in the near future. I call it "Awesome Windows Software." It will take me some months to get it off the ground since it requires a website. But I'm game to give it a try! Thanks again for the inspiration and new found confidence to undertake a project of this scope and magnitude.

Quick and easy read. Great reminder of the stages of learning and the importance of beginner mind
Loved the clear demarcation of key thoughts and the practice of chapter summaries and book summary.Would have liked to see examples of mind maps since that is core to learning recommendations.

Recommended for becoming an expert
I'm a brute-force learner, coming at a subject from all angles. This is one of many books I've read on this subject.I gained from Hollins' perspective--especially the method of research he teaches. If you've never read a book on the subject of learning, there's a ton here that'll help you. And even if you're a veteran learner, there are still some gems in this one. Recommended.

Ok
Like a lot of these books, the information can be condensed down into a pamphlet. But there were some good points in it.

Another Good Book in a Twelve Part Series
I gave reviews for the last five books that I read. The truth is I'm running out of words to describe how much I've learned from reading these books. So, I'll end by saying Mr. Hollins books helped me out a lot.

The name says it all
One of the best and practical books I read ( hopefully implement) on accelerated learning to build expertise. I recommend anyone who is serious in building expertise in his/her chosen field.

Ottimo libro riepilogativo
Questo libro riassume in modo molto chiaro e conciso ciò che serve per diventare, ed essere percepiti, come esperti. Spiega nei primi capitoli come apprendere velocemente. Poi si focalizza sull'expertise. Super consigliato.
