OK Helmet, but Caution: Does not come with Fidlock buckle- issue with O'Neal advertising and feature
Ok helmet. Does what it is supposed to. The issue resides with either Amazon, or O'Neal (seems like an O'Neal issue). The picture shown on Amazon shows the Fidlock buckle. That is what attracted me to the helmet. When I got the helmet it is the standard D-ring buckle. However, even the little product tag that came on it from O'Neal, shows in the feature list the Fidlock feature. When I google searched the slat helmet, I found multiple sites where some showed the Fidlock, and some did not. It seems they must have different versions, or changed the product, or just got ahead of themselves with some advertising and their literature.

Almost really good
Would have given it five stars but this helmet definitely runs small I wear XL in every helmet and I definitely need to go 2XL ( can’t find 2XL “in stock “ anywhere ) It says the liner can be removed to wash but the front or forehead area doesn’t look like it comes out and no information included either. So I think it’s a good helmet but...

this does not come with the magnetic quick release buckle
This does not come with the magnetic quick release buckle as described which is bug let down for a well made helmet like this …. I suppose its not make or break but its really one the reasons you want a trials specific helmet. I thought this is was and " old model" but I have not been able to confirm the SLAT helmet comes with the mag quick buckle because the ONEAL website does not list it as equipped on the product page of details.

Good trials helmet
I wondered if one of these open face helmets would actually be better for trials.. Wel... it is! It really opens your field of view. This particular helmet is very good for the price. Very comfortable.

Choose your fitment carefully
It doesn't fit very well. Even with an XL, my ears hang out of bottom of the sides.
