Using my unit on an old Gold Wing. There were no problems hooking up the receiver as all of the wires were marked clearly. My old radio and OEM speakers were poor. I love the red LEDs at night, and the face display is easy to see even in the daylight. Excellent at night. The controls are easy enough to use with a gloved hand and if the unit is hooked directly to the battery it will save all of my settings. The settings are straight-forward enough.As for the speakers, I bought this to use on a motorcycle and am hoping that they will hold up in the rain. Not been caught in rain yet. I would imagine that they would be fine on a boat as far as water-proofing is concerned. Volume and clarity is another matter. Here again I would think that they would sound fine on a boat or in a car, but they are not really good enough to use on a fully-faired bike at speed. Have to pump up the volume to the point they will wash out over 60-65 mph. I figured this coming in and will upgrade them over the winter. They sound fine in town, either on talk radio or music. USB worked fine.Giving the whole thing a great review overall, especially for the price.

Installed this a few weeks after purchased. It worked fine when installed. Went to use it next day and it would not work. Tried calling Pyle's tech line but never could get a response. I e-mailed them and asked if there were things I could check. They sent a few e-mails and had me check wiring which I had already done. I checked fuses, wiring and power to radio with no success. I have e-mailed them back several times but still no returned e-mail on what to do. Not a happy camper!

Not a bad radio, but not a great radio either.

I have installed many auto radios and yes I have on occasion wired them wrong but I was able to find my mistake and make it right. This radio is not worth the time or money. Go for the better brand spend a little more money and be done with it.

Remote doesnt work..had a month, installed 2 weeks ago remote doesnt work so I'll have to pay for product and shipping again , already did with first one...no warranty? Urge everyone to run from this company...

This radio is awesome for the price I've paid. The sound is not High End by any means but,it is exactly what I needed in a boat radio. Loud enough not to be drowned out by the engine,and no distortion at that level either. I needed a cheap radio for my boat that I didn't need to worry about. If it gets wet or stolen Who cares ? It was cheap. It will do everything it says it will. As far as setting the clock goes, No it does not tell you how to do it in the manual, but it took me all of 1 min. to figure it out. first press and hold the disp button until the hour starts to blink. then turn the volume dial to the desired time. You then press the select button (the one in the center of the volume dial) the min. will start to flash. Turn the volume dial to the desired min. setting. then press the disp. button again and thats that. Great product for the price. I would recomend this product to anybody who is looking for the same application I was.

I recently purchased this item. Installed it as shown on the skimpy instructions, quit working after about an hour. During install no directions on how to set time. I contacted Pyle Support the same day I installed and have had no response from them. Hoping this was just a bad unit since I cut the hole in my dash to fit it!2nd Entry: Amazon was super quick and shipped another unit today. When I received it I hooked it up according to directions for a second time. This radio will not even power up. All connections were checked and had power. Ground was good also. I've installed several radios and know what I am doing. I compared the back of both radios and noted one was missing the RCA connectors and the other had the RCA connectors but no "Line Out" cables installed. What is wrong with Pyles quality control??

Aun no he echo la instalacion però Bueno es todo plastico, imagino que para el Barco que va a ser su funcion tiene buena pinta. Solo faltarà ver la Calidad y lo que aguanta. No se ve mal del todo esperemos no cambiar mi opinion
