Excellent piece of kit for gamers and non gamers alike, and the price makes it really quiet amazing.
The keyboard feels good, looks good, and has good features for the price. The light on its dimmest setting is just right for general, non annoying "hardware with lights" daily and nightly usage. The software, while pretty barebones, is functional and useful. Doing things like macros and reassigning keys to other things is much easier and user friendly than something like Autohotkey (though obviously AHK is a far more powerful piece of software if you need that). I mention Autohotkey because thats what I have always used for such function on my keyboards until now. They keyboard has 6 dedicated macro/custom keys along the left side, which takes a little adjustment when playing shooters and anything that uses WASD, as you will need to train your brain just a tad to not reach over and tap one of those keys when you are actually aiming for CTRL or Shift or Caps and so forth. It took a few days of gaming to adjust to it, but its a non issue now. The media keys along the top are typical and do exactly what they are supposed to do. Note that, as far as I can tell, the media buttons ARE NOT customizable, which to me is also a non issue but I will mention it nonetheless. The keyboard has onboard memory and can store 3 custom profiles right on the hardware, eliminating need for software at all once things are set up, and allowing you to plug the keyboard into any PC and have all your customization right there without any software interaction (profiles are switched with dedicated buttons on the left part of the media key row).If you are familiar with Roccat mouse software, the look and function of the macro function is very similar (to the point that i wonder if Sharkoon and Roccat both licensed the same OEM software for that function). The key presses feel good. They have a good clack sound, feel solid, and reliable. I do not like mechanical keyboards. The keys on this board feel, to me anyway, really just about ideal. They aren't "chiclet" style like on a laptop, and they aren't mushy like a cheapo membrane board. They have just the right amount of feedback, and for the price I honestly didnt expect the keys to be this good. I assumed I would be getting kind of mushy and "gooey" and was pleasantly surprised to get real, honest "clackers" on this 30 dollar gaming keyboard. The cable is braided, which is a nice bonus. The keyboard comes with the ubiquitous plastic foldout feet, but also includes little rubber "booties" for better traction, though they fit a little loose and are somewhat prone to fall off when lifting the keyboard. All in all, for 30 bucks, this is a great keyboard both for gamers and general usage. It feels good to type on, and has enough useful stuff that I would certainly recommend it.

Absolutely amazing
For what I paid for this product, it's absolutely amazing what it can do and how well it does it. The keys provide adequate tactile feedback, it's not loud at all, the software is amazingly smooth and functions well and the list goes on and on. Even the packaging looks really well made with chrome accents on the box etc. The glowing logo also adds a really nice touch, and adds the premium quality look to the product. The keys aren't the best quality and feels somewhat cheap as I type this review, but honestly it's better than I expected for $30. ALL the keys are customizable via the included software with many added features such as profile triggering with different programs, macros etc that you can set. The keyboard also comes with a VERY thick cable, not kidding, I've seen cables like these on Power Supplies, which is a good thing. Overall, when you type with it, it doesn't feel like a highly expensive product but it sure as hell doesn't feel/look super cheap at the same time. Very well worth the money, best keyboard in this price range in my humble opinion.

Really nice...
This is the first actual gaming keyboard I've ever bought. I've always used a standard multimedia keyboard and that has always sufficed for any games I've played.I replaced an old Dynex standard keyboard with the Sharkoon Skiller. The Dynex had just as many programmable extra keys and has done me well for about 6 years over the life of a couple different machines, but it was time for a replacment. The Skiller keyboard has impressed me greatly, especially for the price.I really like that the Skiller has a heavier than average usb cord. I don't feel like I'm going to crimp or pinch it on accident. The rubberized replacement keys feel good, and on that note the key clicks themselves feel very smooth. I've read in other reviews about this product that the keys were loud and clunky. I don't find that to be the case at all, but to be fair I am coming from an old relatively cheap keyboard. The Skiller certainly doesn't feel like an expensive, hyper-performing, metal capped, mechanical keyboard... but it's really nice. Now, the reasons I give this four stars and not five.Firstly, the software. While there's nothing wrong with it, I don't have a use for it. Lots of people may use multiple layers and many different key configurations, but I'm not one of the people. There's nothing in that software allowing me to toggle the big blue "S" on the bottom of the board. I'd at least like to be able to dim it, the light's pretty bright and it stays on all the time. Even when the machine is powered down. And overall it's just another program running in the background in the task bar taking up system resources, no matter how small the number that's just something that drives me nuts.Secondly, I really like that the Skiller came with the blue rubberized extra keys. They provide a great amount of grip while gaming and don't affect typing negatively. However, when I installed them each one of them stuck. I pulled them back out and noticed that there were deformations in the plastic tracks where the key actually plugs in to the board, all eight keys. A little trimming with an X-acto knife and that was solved, but it sort of made me feel like they were an afterthought. So yeah, pretty trivial cons. The good definitely outweighs the bad, I'm very happy with this keyboard. And for the quality you get the price is great.

Sharkoon Skiller Pro USB QWERTY Inglese US Nero

They send you a British/UK one
So the listing is for a US keyboard and you get a UK one. Believe me that is not workable if your used to US.
