I ordered this as a replacement for a remote we have had since we moved into our home in Spring of 2004, the Original Remote started to have issues, mainly sticking buttons that became difficult to get to work, after about 10 to 15 years of service, I kept putting off even looking for a replacement, but once I could no longer to get the Light Button to work I had to do something. This Replacement Remote works like NEW, I am so glad I finally ordered it and look forward to years of reliable service from it.

The remote was easy to set up. Lucky I had the old remote and it had the current code. I changed the 4 code on the new one. It worked like a dream. I looked at Lowe’s and Home Depot nothing worked. I’m relaxing in bed with my dimmed light and 3 level fan. Rock star easy remote!!

This worked perfect with my Hampton Bay fan! The original controller had buttons that would stick and was very hard to turn off the fan or light. So did not use the fan for at least 3 years or more. Until we found this on Amazon. Same model number and the jumpers that are used were default which matched my fan. So basically worked as soon as I inserted the 9 volt battery. Yay, happy again!

Ok product. Does not work well with LED bulbs. Has a "up" light. And "down" light control wires. Direction have no explanation of what to do if your fan only has one blue light wire single control. I tied both together to the blue light wire on the fan to make the remote work with an on /off function with the up button on remote. Tap it for on and off. Do yourself a favor read and purchase a unit that can hand led bulbs and uses a single light control wire . I would not not buy this unit again. And I purchased 3.

Nice weight and quality. This is actually better than the one that came with the high-end overhead fan. The buttons are large and we'll placed. The shape allows for use with the lights out because you know which end is up.

When our original Hampton Bay remote stopped working, the store we originally bought the ceiling fan from had other remotes that were more expensive or other brands that weren’t compatible. This one worked perfectly after my husband adjusted the program to match our fan.

Bought this for my daughter and her husband, their remote broke. Just pop in batteries and make sure what channel it’s on, good to go and easy to use. Just like the factory remote that came with it.

i like that it works with an older but very nice ceiling fan. The fan had no pull controls and the original remote stopped responding even with fresh batteries. This was a huge $ saver for me as I did not have to replace the fan.

I purchased this item to replace my fan controller but I had only a down light- so I didn't fully comprehend what an up/down light fan means- this means that you have an upper and lower light- as a result I wired it up incorrectly and suffered the consequences. But still managed to salvage it. The instructions should be a little clearer.

I only needed the remote. Well the remote is $53.00. I purchase the remote with receiver and it was only $39.00. Works perfectly and just kept the receiver in a box. The remote work like it should.

Works perfect for application. Only drawback I found and it's not really an issue is a clicking noise between settings.
