i am delighted! not an expert on picture quality, but they look great to me! maybe it is the bigger screen size, but my pics have really come alive! also it does a great job of automatically resizing to fit the screen. several of my pics wouldn't display properly on my old quantaray and they do fine on this one. some of the info here says 4GB, some says 2GB - it is 4GB. the stand gives me no problems. i am no techie and i thought it was easy to set up. the warranty is 1 year. and best of all - if you have a question you can call aluratek and quickly talk to a REAL PERSON who is courteous and helpful. YAY!!

Frame would be fine if it just randomize sideshow order. It only shows them alphabetically. Not only does it not randomize them, it starts with the same first alphabetically named photo each time it starts! If you have a lot of photos, like I do, you may never see them all. I might be able to tolerate the alphabetized order of photos if when it restarts it would pick up where it left off, but it doesn't even do that. It starts all over again from beginning. Unfortunately I have had to return it, since it lacks this basic feature that every other frame I've ever owned or gifted has.

We use this particular digital picture frame for a counter-top video display in all of our participating retailers. We've created a 2 minute company video that we load onto a 2GB SD card. Then all we have to do is purchase this frame, insert the SD Card and voila! a super cool video display that gets lots of attention.We've tried several other brands and sizes but this one has been the best size and has stood the test of time. The stand is sturdy, the product is reliable, the video resolution is wonderful, the retailer can choose to have the audio playing or not and the SD card can start easily without a lot of menu surfing.I highly recommend this product.

We bought the Aluratek 12-Inch photo frame for my mom. We didn't need anything fancy that connected to the Internet or had it's own email address. We needed something that played music and displayed pictures. It was her 85th birthday present. We wanted to get her something to stimulate her memory with pictures of family, friends and music from the past. We thought a little diversion from daytime TV and Jerry Springer might be a good thing. Choosing the right digital photo frame was no easy task. There are so many choices wih all the different features to wade through. We started with a price of under $100. We also wanted an aspect ratio of 4:3 which is what most cameras are. Our choice also had to play music randomly and display the photos at random too. The internal memory size of 4Gb as well as the ability to display video was a plus. Our purchase arrived on time and was easy to set up using the cable included and hooking up to a usb port in my laptop. Using the remote control and navigating through the onscreen menu took a little effort but it's not needed to load pictures or music. You just drag and drop through the onscreen interface. Since this was a surprise birthday gift we didn't want to leave anything to chance. We wanted to have the music and photos preloaded and the photo frame working when we took mom out to dinner at our favorite restaurant. So, I called tech support to get some questions answered about pixels and stuff and was able to talk with a human almost immediatly. I got all my questions answered and sent out an email to all family members what the specs needed to be for their pictures. Sure, the photo frame will resize your photos if they are not the right size but we didn't want to leave anything to chance. We had a small collection of photos and music ready before the photo frame arrived. For those of you wanting to do the same thing your photos should be 700x525 @72dpi. Your mp3's should be encoded at the standard 44,100/128kbps format. We didn't load any video into the frame. This digital photo frame makes a great gift for under $100. The screen does a decent job displaying pictures. Not gaga but decent. The sound from the built in stereo speakers are adequate. The display and sound can be adjusted through the menu. Mom likes it. That's all that matters.

I bought this in July 2022--Some how the frame stopped working in October --I called customer service --Rommel in Customer service was very patient--he walked me through all trouble shooting --My frame started working again ----It needs FAT 32 USB to run pictures ---I have 32 GB which can run continuously about 10,000 pictures ---I don't think anyone needs more than this :)----so super Awesome frame --A great buy for people who love pictures which stay sitting in drives --beautiful way to keep seeing your own spectacular shots

This does not have a good viewing angle. You have to be have the frame exactly straight in front of you and forget about keeping it on a site table with a tilt. This may work for you if on a wall and not too high so that you look at it at your eye level and also from the sides it will not be good.Disappointing for the price of that.The remote is not practical and it has to be very close and directly pointing at the sensor.The built quality is good and the features are good but I would not recommend it for its bad viewing angle.

I just got it for my Brother's 50th anniversary present. I immediately loaded photos onto the device's 4Gb internal memory card and started watching. I don't have the hang of all the controls on the frame and didn't want to open and use the remote since this is a gift, but I was able to get photo's displaying without understanding what I was doing. This is a great size. I have had a smaller device for over a year now and loved it but this display is even better. I liked it enough to turn around and order one for myself.'

Junk! You only have a window of thirty days to return this. It flips pictures around and will not save them even if you flip them back. It puts color streaks through your pictures. The only way to fix this is on your computer. What if you do not have a computer? Is not user friendly at all. Manufacturer will not return it either because it is not defective, but it is built that way. Amazon is that why you have such a small window for returns????

Easy setup. Using for photos only. Clear onscreen instructions. Easier to navigate than other frames we have used. Images kind of pixelated due to resolution, but, good for the price.
