Impact Digital Light Shed - Large

I found that this product is great to use outside in the sun for a really excellent well rounded light source and giving the subject item the kind of look that I need. I can't imagine working with a smaller size shed for anything in terms of versatility. You can use it in a horizontal or vertical position, depending on the distance from the background and your objects' size. I found the distance of the subject to the background an interesting point when the light shed is in a vertical position. It's a bit cumbersome for external strobes & light boxes/modifiers but certainly does the job. I've seen that others use incandescent lights with excellent results. My biggest challenge is getting the camera angle that I want given the limited access but that is just me. Note that you do want to steam out the creases of the backdrops before you use them. The Velcro attachment positions are well located for their backdrops. Keep that in mind if you use your own materials. I do want to say that the customer service is good: my product arrived with a problem storage bag, I contacted the company through email after searching for it on the internet, got a phone call and was sent a new perfect storage bag within a week. I recommend this product.

it's decent, it's got plentiful of space for putting larger products inside.what sets this light shed apart from the competition is the amount of options you can do -- take the side off, take the bottom off, put a sweeping backdrop inside, or a plexiglass(provided) bottom for reflection effects.The problem with these kind of light box is that the light is EXTREMLY flat inside. What does that mean? you can't add highlights to your products, and sometimes a little shadow detail is necessary to define the shape and provide better look for the products, which when put in this light box -- or any lightbox, it's hard to do.but regardless, this lightbox stands out because of its various options available.

This is a well made light/photo shed and it works very well. I'm happy with it and I've used it for a few months of product photography. I had purchased a larger one from a competitor (Cow.studio) and it was not only too big (my fault for ordering the wrong size) but was not nearly as nicely constructed as this one. This is quality - though I'm sure there are more expensive ones out there. I do not need any better than this.For how I used it, I put a product stand (mini-table of either white/black) inside to raise the item I'm photographing a little higher up within the light shed and that worked well. There are many ways that you can use this thing, but I preferred having the front open (toward camera) and not closed and my results were still superb. Two lights, sometimes a third (from above) and worked perfectly. Has a carrying/storage case too as well as black/white background. I do not need any other colors than this. Also, this one is not difficult to 'fold' up and put away. You don't have to make a pretzel out of it to close it down! Excellent product. O, and a matte interior within the shed. Good stuff. Yes, would buy this again.

I was not sure I would need a tent this large --but it turns out not to be too huge afterall. I like the way it folds together rather than the acrobatic pretzel twisting of some other tents. The pockets are not in the most convenient places --but it's a good buy for the money.

This is a well-made product and very versatile. It can accommodate surprisingly large items and can be configured a number of ways. Items can be illuminated from sides, back, top, and bottom in any combination. Zippers and velcro make configuring this light tent a breeze. It folds and unfolds in seconds once you get the hang of it (directions included). It folds flat and can be stored almost anywhere. You won't regret purchasing this item from Impact. Make sure you have sufficient lighting with this or any other light tent.

Have used this to shoot about 60 products to date. Works well and has multiple camera entry points. Even comes with a black drop cloth and shiny white plastic side inserts.Bit hard to fold up, but have worked out the easiest way to do it now.

I've been using these with a set of IKEA lamps to take photographs of items to sell online. It's not the whitest light shed out there but with some post-processing, it does the job pretty well. It was larger than I thought but that proved necessary with some subjects.

Using with a Panasonic GH4 to shoot stills of products like cell phones and other small electronics for local telecommunications companies. Also used it to shoot macro video of some cold beer cans, worked great.
