Pro-Stat Advanced Wound Care (AWC), Concentrated Liquid Protein Medical Food - Citrus Splash Punch Flavor, 30 Fl Oz bottle

It tastes strongly of citrus and has the consistency of cold honey but this is a wonder drug for healing. It is especially good for people who are lactose intolerant or who need a low sugar diet. Pro-stat has a wide variety of special need nutrition products. I was very lucky to be told of AWC by the hospital nutritionist when I was having trouble healing after surgery. It worked wonders and proved to be a great help. I recommended this to my 93 year old mother who was trying to heal from an infection and it was a great help for her also, especially when coupled with a very high protein diet. It is not cheap but is worth the investment. I prefer the citrus flavor over the cherry or grape which I also tried but that is a personal preference. All flavors are very intense. Do be sure to buy a tube of the one ounce dose cups so you can get the right dose and can lick out the remaining product since it doesn't flow easily.

Worked well for me. Been working on healing after surgery 3 years ago. I started using this 6 months ago and I am now almost done. I feel it has helped me a lot.

Aiding healing but awful to get down even diluted.

I had to get them for my aunt for wound healing. Her wound still took forever to heal but the dr. prescribed this protein so We've been using it. The price was about the same as Walmart so I got it on amazon so I didn't have to pay shipping. It is really a very unpleasant taste but you only have to have an oz. at a time, or at least that's what her orders were so she just takes it like a shot but it is nasty tasting.

I ordered this product for my mother who has stomach cancer. She doesn't eat well and recently fell. We mixed this with 8 oz water and she really seems to enjoy it. Too soon to tell how it works, but it seems to be giving her some more energy. The AWC or advanced wound care is a little more expensive than the regular Pro-Stat, but you can look up the difference on their webpage. It seems worth it. The shipping was a lot faster than the site tells you initially. We got it in two days. The reviews help. I didn't get the Vanilla because the reviews said it tasted awful.

Is excellent for wound healing as well as nourishment

This is a must have if you have open wounds. It helps with healing and it settles the stomach from medicine.
