Chicken Soup for the Soul: Nascar: 101 Stories of Family, Fortitude, and Fast Cars Paperback – February 16, 2010

I'm sure this is an excellent book but I paid for a brand new book but the cover is worn and bent, and the pages are stained. This should have been sold as a used book and listed with a used price.

I bought this book because my brother Robert Faiella contributed 2 stories to it ("Go to a race" and "Think before you boo"). However, after reading his two stories and then flipping through the other stories I realized that this truly is a wonderful book. It was great to see the personal sides of the drivers and learn how their generosity, talents and skills have touched so many lives. If you enjoyed the other Chicken Soup for the Soul series, you'll enjoy this book too - even if you never did watch a race!! Try it or like my brother says...Go to a race!

If you want to read heart-warming stories about the greatest sport ever, then get this book. There are stories in there by drivers like Ned Jarrett and Richard Petty that are really cool. For some reason however, I was expecting more from this book. Don't get me wrong, this is a great book and you should certainly get it, but for some reason I was expecting something extra. A good overall book however. Get it.

My husband and I enjoyed this book. I read it to my husband when he is driving. We love Nascar we watch it every week when it is in season. The book can be a tear jerker. But these stories are true. Each driver tells their story. If you like Nascar you will enjoy this book.

Lots of great stories. Some funny, some heartwarming. I like that most are fairly short. You can flip through and read what appeals to you, it isn't in any specific order.

I have really enjoyed reading this Chicken Soup for the Soul book. I especially am happy to find one that is about NASCAR!!!! The CSS books and NASCAR are two of my passions. There was another CSS NASCAR book, wish they would reprint it.

I am a HUGE NASCAR fan. I saw this book at a bookstore and couldn't wait to read it. This book is full of inspirational people and stories. I can't say enough how much I love this book! Love, Love Love it!!!

Although this book was second hand it was in excellent condition and the stories were everything i had hoped. A very uplifting and inspiring read. Would recommend both book and the company i bought it through.
