I was expecting insights regarding navigating the industry but instead it was more of a collection of essays from various experts analyzing different aspects of the pharma industry. I wanted lessons learned and practical applications - this book feel short on that aspect. If you want to find out where the gaps are in the industry then read the book but then the gaps identified are broad and all to encompassing - and no succinct path forward.

I bought this for my daughter who is doing a business degree and needed to know all about the pharmaceutical industry globally.Content.The book gives a good overview of this industry and how it works and integrates with other related industries and politics around the World.It provides a good ideas platform to enable further net based research.Overall.It is easy to read and quite comprehensive. My daughter found it very useful when doing this areas of study. Like most books the statistics were out of date and further net research into the various markets and companies was required to get the up to date information., However, the basics are here and well written.
