It is a nice indicator
I have added an example of when I used it to measure the inside and outside of my hot tent.It does matter where the device is set up, you will see a difference in a matter of inches if it is in sunlight or the shade.It is a nice indicator, I do however question the accuracy but I have nothing to back that up as I didn't run those type of tests.An example I would check the temp and I would like at my friend and say that can't be right, just a personal opinion not backed up my science.
