Great replacement for the MB Quartz Polaris radio
I installed this in the same housing of the MB Quartz radio that comes factory in the Polaris Rangers. Noticeable difference in how many radio stations I picked up. Also added a cheap antenna booster which gained even more stations. The only thing I do not like about it was the power wire. It does not have the accessory wire that most aftermarket radios come with so you have to press the power button every time. Will not power on with the key!

Worth the money!
was really easy to install. I like the easy to use features, wish it had a clock. i put this in my 20' cc aluminum boat, i used (2) sony explode 4way 6 x 9 speakers. I am happy with the overall preformace of the Stereo. I realy like the BT feature it allowes me to store my phone in my dry box and switch the song directly from the Reciever. I would buy again.

Used almost daily for 6 months now and it still works great with no issue
I put this in my shower after reading many reviews about it's waterproofness. If a man can attach this to his motorcycle I have no fear that a little splashing from showering will harm it. I had issues finding a radio/bluetooth for my shower that didn't cost a lot.Used almost daily for 6 months now and it still works great with no issue. What I don't like is that it's not very modern looking. Reminds me of like a 90's tape deck face or something. I don't know, can't quite put my finger on it. The mode and power button being on the same button bugs me. I often end up changing the mode instead of powering down. Maybe I'd get used to it if I didn't use the remote to power it down after I'm done getting ready most times. Remote was a must in my opinion so I didn't get my feet wet going back in. Husband didn't like what we had to pay for it though. Anyway these minor things are why I dropped a star.I've used the bluetooth many times. It works great. Not much range to it, but I don't really need range. It starts to cut out when I get out of the bathroom and half way down the hall. One cool thing is the ability to skip songs with Pandora. I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to when I was first testing it out.Attached picture with KOHLER K-8033-CP Soundtile Speakers also purchased from Amazon.

Warning, change of ownership and replacement unit is round (PRV175] with now way to cover the hole
Apparently JBL purchased infinity, and the replacement model (PRV175) provided is round. They do not provide a way to make a rectangle hole accommodate a round radio. I’m trying to replace My last infinity radio because it was disintegrating with the cover flaking off. You can see it in the picture. This was replaced not too long ago. I really liked the device but I don’t want the look of my center console degraded

Does this Radio need an amp? Not for two small speakers but if you want 4 speakers I would bet an amp would work best.
I purchased this radio for a cooler jam system and it works great. Plenty of power to push two 6.5 inch speakers. May need small amp if want to power four speakers. Took it to the beach and it filled up our area with very rich deep sound. Coleman Cooler and added a USB AUX port and powered system with a small Lithium rechargeable riding mower battery. Powers the system all day long on the beach.

Does the job but few features or options
I bought this for my motorcycle to install in my fairing. I know and trust the Infinity brand name, so I went with this head unit and paired it to Infinity Reference 6912m 6 x 9-Inch 2-way speakers. Installation was straight forward. I soldered all connections and used heat-shrink tubing to ensure protection against any moisture that gets inside my fairing. The unit is very shallow so not a lot of room is needed (I like that). I've not tested water resistance, nor will I on purpose. The wiring is straight forward and uses a detachable wire harness (also good). Other than being a weird shape and size (once you cut a hole you better like it!), the unit performs as advertised. The display is very bright, which I like, but there's no way to dim it (other than power off).Sadly, the Infinity PRV250 does not include a CLOCK feature. I can't believe NO clock. Really, Infinity? Such a simple and cheap feature, yet it was left out.I was happy to pay $200 for a high-quality head unit. I don't use CDs so didn't need CD player. Plus, CDs skip on motorcycles (boats, too). I bought the PRV250 unit specifically for the Bluetooth feature. I love being able to stream music from my smartphone via BT. One drawback is how the BT standard works. I wish there was a way, on my phone or the head unit, to "filter" certain sounds like email or text alerts from the annoying 'pause music, play tone, re-start music where it left off' experience.FM radio reception is fine. Your choice and route of antenna will play a bigger role in reception than the head unit. I chose a passive "pig tail" style antenna; the Dual Electronics MAW40 Car/Marine Wire Antenna. I installed my head unit, powered it up and played with several antenna routes (inside my fairing) and layouts before taping it down. Hint: Do not leave your antenna lay naturally coiled. The coils will kill your reception. I used the auto-scan feature of my head unit to determine best reception and am very happy with FM reception. I have not tried AM reception yet.I'm disappointed that I have to buy an extra accessory to take advantage of "line-in" feature on a $200 head unit. Also, the buttons are VERY stiff and difficult to press, especially when reaching over handlebars. I realize this head unit was originally designed for marine use, but it's a very popular choice for motorcycle riders. Many times riders wear gloves and having easier buttons would help greatly. Hopefully the buttons will "break in" with time.
