Lens Cap with String Leash Strap for Canon Powershot SX50 , SX400 , SX10IS, SX10, SX20IS, SX20, SX30 IS Digital Camera - Replacement

The cap is well built and fits perfectly. The latches are very secure, but can be a little difficult to grasp. It gets more comfortable the more you use it. The lanyard to attach it to the camera is not very useful which is why I gave it four instead of five stars. However, considering the price, it is well worth purchasing if you have lost your original lens cap.

The picture of this product is deceiving. It is not a leash that attaches to the camera lens cap through the hole, it has a sticky tab on it that you are supposed to peel the backing off and stick to the lens cap as a loss prevention measure, which didn't seem reliable to me. So I cut the sticky part off and strung the string through the hold and tied it off. So, it will work. Not super happy that I had to make the modification, but it will do and the cap fits my camera.

I just wanted the Lens Cap and its good. Its Fits for my SX20IS and also has "Canon" logo ...Thanks -Vish

The cap fits very well, and is easy to use. I hope I dont lose it, as I lost the original. The leash is attached through a sticky section that seems insecure, we'll see how it holds. I thought I was missing something so I checked back on the reviews, and saw that others made similar comments about the leash.

I originally received a cap that did not fit, I emailed them and they immediately sent me the one that does fit... I'm so happy, the only thing that I don't like is the lanyard... it doesn't actually tie onto the cap, but sticks somewhere, and it doesn't stick too well. Maybe they should try a different type of lanyard. Giving them a 5 star because of their prompt response and excellent service.

should have read the reviews instead of believing the photos because they give the impression that the tether attaches to the back of the cap instead of attaching with a self sticking disc on the front of the lens cap

Well the good news is the lens cap fits securely onto my camera (Canon Powershot SX20IS) which is the only reason I gave this product a second star. However, the strap is a freaking joke!!!Don't be fooled by the image which makes it appear as though the string leash strap loops through the lens cap and can be attached to your camera. The strap connects to the lens cap with a tiny rubber sticky tab, smaller then a dime. Even if I wanted to use a different strap, there isn't even a notch on the lens cap that it could be tied to/looped through.Needless to say if I didn't need my lens cap for traveling next week, I would be returning it. Luckily I don't buy clothing without pockets and I also have a camera bag so I can put the lens cap somewhere safe without loosing it.BOTTOM LINE: You get what you pay for; not much!

The lens cap is perfect. The lens cap has no FLAT PLASTIC AREA for the stick on string leash to adhere, therefore can not be used with the lens cap. But I repeat...the lens cap is perfect. It fits better than the cap that came with the camera, which popped off and was lost.
