This book is easy to understand. Just take a look at it if you’re interested in psychology.. this book is only just to get a brief understanding... if you want more understanding get a professional book or study this subject in high school or college.

Very good book for getting the gist of what Psychology is all about. I don't usually read these kind of books from cover to cover, but this was an exception. I highly recommend if you're the least bit interested in what makes people tick

It was required for a class as reference book. Needless to say as a psych major, in my junior year, it has help in all my classes this semester! Great buy!!

Very in depth and well written. I liked the fact that it was serious but not too serious in the fact that it does have some slight humor included. The movie reviews at the end are worth reading

Consider a person who is able to sense someone's feelings better than others and their eye easily catches the subtle body language cues that is reflected by people. If you are such a person and you wanted to know more as to why you are able to understand such things then you must start reading about Psychology. I suggest you to take a neutral stand. Don't be skeptical about the field and start from the basics.This book serves like a introduction to the field. Don't expect anything in detail,this book is not for that, although the books covers each topic with certain level of details. It will provide you the basic meta theory in the field. Explains the famous meta theory that the world currently believes in. Walk you through that model. Talks about how psychologists work. What are the differences in various treatment methods etc.I would suggest this book for beginners. Once you are comfortable with the field, pick a topic from the book that stimulated you the most and then explore that in detail.If you want to know about Psychology and don't know where to begin then this book is for you, else I would suggest you to look for a different book.

its a little boring but its the subject

Brought this for myself as I’m looking into a degree in psychology and wanted to research! I love this book, the language is a lot easier to understand making it a great book to start with! It covers a lot too!

Got this for some pre-course ideas! Excellent and very descriptive and worded in a way that even dummies can understand it! I definitely recommend this book if you're just starting out an interest in Psychology!Excellent price and arrived very quickly in excellent condition!
