Joe Rocket Mens Boots Speedmaster 3.0 Boot 9.5 Black

I wear a size 9 1/2 and first bought a size 9 Joe Rocket Superstreet boot. They were comfortable, and fit a bit snug, but I needed something that came up a little higher to fit over my leathers for the track…so I bought the 9 1/2 Joe Rocket Speedmaster 3.0, and they fit and feel great! I’m not sure exactly why Joe Rocket discontinued these boots, but I was lucky to find them. Also in my search, I found that the Joe Rocket Canada website has a much better selection than the US website.

I bought these based on reviews and price. I normally wear a 9.5 to 10, but had to send them back for a 9.0 as they run larger. I wanted a snug ankle area fit and ended up adding a orthotic insole (arch support) to get this. Overall appearance is awesome, only time will tell if the quality is there.

Run insanely large.

I would have given these a 5 star but the bottom of the boot or the sole of the boot wears out really fast. Also hate to point out that the red strips on the bottom are glued on... yeah my left foot boot has them actually dangling off. Right side boot still has a bit of wear from stopping and walking but aside from that it is fine, looks like it will hold up for a long time since it doesn't have to do anything but rear brake on the bike. Getting back to the left boot, the part of the boot on the sole that makes contact on the peg when shifting has grind down to a jagged flat, it's crazy or maybe I am exaggerating since the peg does have sort of spikes for grip. Anyhow, everything else on the boots is solid. My feet never feel sweaty in this summer heat and I've ridden in these boots for 3,800 miles already. There is no wear at all on any other part of these boots, upper, toes, shifter pad, shins etc. Only the parts mentioned on the bottom or the left boot's Sole. While I don't know or think that it will eat away until it reaches my foot, there isn't any pattern left on the part of the boot that rests on the foot peg or makes contact with the peg, so it is difficult for me to recommend this product. My only other gripe is that the air vent metal mesh on the sides of the boot, might be rusting? That is weird, and I hope it is just something else but, yeah, no rust please!I up shift and downshift without fail 50 miles a day 5 days a week 60% freeway 40% street in these so If you use them on track they should last you more than 3,800 track miles so that means they will last you a LONG time, maybe over 2 years? IDK, I guess since the good out weighs the bad I will recommend them. I just hope the sole on future Joe Rocket boots stand the test of time a whole lot better.

Hasta ahora, se ven de buen material y cómodas... ya el tiempo dirá qué tan bien hechas están... detalle con la talla... la tabla que se muestra de equivalencias, no es la correcta... para que quien guste comprarlas, pida talla aun mas chica...
